Re: Playstation Move
Got my bundle last night and had a chance to play MAG. The controls were much better than I expected. I only had the chance to play a couple of games, but I didn't feel incredibly handicapped playing against others using dual analog (which I originally worried about). I'm still trying to find the proper turn speed for my liking, but I was able to hold my own and be an active medic for my squad. I look forward to playing on Domination mode (256 players) and seeing if i can still be effective with all of that chaos going on. The only complaint that i had early on was no customizable controls. I found myself stretching too far for the reload button (which is square). In the heat of a battle, that little bit of stretching could get me killed. Other than that, the button scheme was very nice and easy to adjust to. Being a sniper truly feels like being a sniper (when using a scope). I would love to have one of those gun attachments to get the overall effect, but I'll stick with this for now.
I tried to play the Tiger Woods demo, but kept getting install errors (for some reason). I'm probably going to try out Sports Champions today and see if I'll like it. But, for the most part, I'm going to stick with MAG (and may get Resident Evil 5).Comment

Re: Playstation Move
I've been playing The Shoot and while it is great arcade type fun it has a few glitches that are hampering it from being a solid rail shooter.
One of the power ups automatically goes off and doesn't allow you to store it for later use, and the controller constantly need caliberating. (which you would think the latter would be a real game killer considering the genre but it doesn't take away too much imo. It's just a matter of hitting the circle button and it caliberates sp? quickly)
It does have a ton of replay value though and I'm looking forward to going through and doing the challenges to unlock the trophies. (Fun game for trophy hunters like me)
I was pleasantly surprised by SC. Disc golf could be a title all on its' own. Ping Pong works well wth one player but can be a little tough with two players unless you have alot of room to play in. (We don't have that luxury lol)
I've yet to try any of the other games but I hear they're all solid.Last edited by Chef Matt; 01-05-2011, 10:39 AM.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Playstation Move
I asked myself the same question. What made my decision were the games out now and the ones coming out in the near future. With Killzone 3 & Socom 4 coming out really soon, I didn't find anything coming out on the Kinect that interested me in the near future. Like CaptainZombie said, you should try out both, see what games you'd be more interested in playing, and make your own decision. I'll get a Kinect sometime before the year's up (I'm sure). But I need something more than workout games, party games, and dancing games.Comment

Re: Playstation Move
Not much of a "deal" considering all separately add up to that price.Honestly, I think this is the best deal I have seen on the MOVE, plus look what your getting, I may be all over this today.
http://www.ebgames.com/Catalog/Produ...oc=ps3carousel
$99.99 - Sports Champions Bundle
$49.99 - Extra Move Controller
$29.99 - Nav Controller
$29.99 - Nav Controller
= $209.96
Now if it was discounted, then it would be a deal.
(They list the Sports Champions Bundle as separate items to make it sound like you are getting "more")Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 01-05-2011, 02:42 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
