Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I was kinda thinking the same thing but then I thought, "I'm going to be on alot of vacation time this summer and will suck without it". So I'm good again.Last edited by Chef Matt; 04-29-2012, 04:42 PM.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I DL'ed patch 1.16 and cloud saved a new season to my Vita and I played a game on it in my season and everything so far is smooth except for losing 4-1 and only mustering up three hits in my rusty haze. Before though, I couldn't get passed the schedule screen without getting an error and lock up. When I get home tonight I'm going to transfer it back to the PS3 and see what happens.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
So....talk me into MK guys. How many on this board are getting it? Think there will be enough of an online community on the portable to make it worthwhile?
If it helps, I never owned it on PS3, though I did rent it once a long time ago, enough to get a taste of the combos, fatalities and story mode. So for me it wouldn't be buying most of the same game all over again like it would be for most of you.
I don't even remember why I decided against getting it on initial release...might have been because of SFIV taking up all my fighting game time.Comment

Ok, I transferred my cloud save from my vita back to the ps3, checked box scores, schedules, stats, etc... Everything so far has worked. I even simmed the season, I started on the ps3 played on the vita and transferred back, and every one who belonged in the playoffs were there. No abnormalities.
So I say guys... Start new.
Hopefully this continues as I haven't played a game on the ps3 yet, that status will come later tonight.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Personally I'm waiting a month until E3 to see what Sony has in store for us. if they don't bring the goods at E3 then I don't see myself owning this for too long.Comment

Although at the moment HSG doesn't have actual online play either (just tournaments) there's promise of it coming.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
It's funny - I think I am the Vita's target market. I own a PSP and love it. I had been saving money to buy the Vita, expecting my decision to be easy. Then, I saw the list of games - no football or hockey (later I saw Madden sort of announced, but appears an after thought by EA), no Burnout, no GTA, one baseball game. I am an Xbox guy, so cross-platform baseball with The Show (if it even works) is of no interest to me. There was no pressing reason for me to buy the Vita, but I was still on the fence at launch. The thing that took me off the fence was the greed of Sony. Games don't work without a proprietary memory card? No deal at all for the UMD discs I already own (not even a discount to download from PSN store to my Vita)? All of this combined to make me take a pass on the Vita, and I have not seen anything since to make me doubt my decision. I'm disappointed, but Sony brought all of this on itself, and failing sales are the result.Comment

My only complaints are that I wish there were more games available and the memory cards are overpriced.Last edited by WildFan22; 04-30-2012, 01:53 PM.Comment

Loving my Vita. Use it mainly at work during my lunch break.
Also comes in handy when my girlfriend is over hogging the tv for Glee, Gossip Girl (etc.)Comment
