Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I'm not stressing the lack of games...yet. It did slow down quite a bit after the launch window, but there were a whole lot of games that came out around that time. I'm willing to let the dev studios re-load a bit after that launch.
Plus, I decided to hold off on Uncharted at launch, and am now playing it during this lull. I feel like that was a wise decision.
Leaning toward MK since I didn't own it on PS3, but I'm still concerned about being able to find enough online games. Beyond that, I don't see much that's been announced that interests me other than COD (I'm interested to see how that works on a portable). Other than DLC tables for Pinball Arcade and Zen 2, that is.
Disgaea 3 would certainly fit the time-sink description. Those games can be played for hundreds of hours if you don't mind the grind.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Super pumped to get MK tomorrow.
And I'll just go ahead and say this again... Rayman Origins is the best game on the system. Tight controls, tons of collectibles for hours of play, and hands down the prettiest thing the Vita has to offer.
BUY IT! Lol.Comment

I really really suck at fighting games. Wish I didn't though because MK looks solid. I need a fighting game tutorial game.Comment

I have to hold off for a bit on MK the funds just aren't there. Glad I'm back in the saddle with The Show though.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
The only "knock" I'm hearing about MK is that the fighting models were scaled down quite a bit to accomodate the 60 fps. The small screen should hide that a bit though, and there is just way to much content to pass up!
Plus, I just feel like a game like this is more suited to handheld than a console... something I can just play in short bursts, or in bed.
Very excited to pick it up tonightComment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Can't wait to download MK tonight. I traded in my 360 copy the week before the Vita came out.
I have the funds for a couple of games in my PS Network account and it took a lot of discipline these past couple of weeks not to blow some of it on another game while waiting for this to come out. Impulse buys of digital downloads are not good.
I love The Show and Hot Shots but I impulse bought Virtua Tennis and Fifa in the weeks leading up to The Show and while they're good, I wish I hadn't bought them as I hardly ever play them.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Yeah, meant to ask...how do the controls compare to the sixaxis? Obviously there's no substitute for an arcade stick, but I'm hoping it controls at least as good as the wireless...Comment
