I love The Show and Hot Shots but I impulse bought Virtua Tennis and Fifa in the weeks leading up to The Show and while they're good, I wish I hadn't bought them as I hardly ever play them.
have you played uncharted yet? Great games, I haven't played mine in awhile because I haven't had anytime latley to play anything, but UC is a great handheld game.

      Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

I was on the fence with the VITA since release. I just followed it through the news and game reviews.

Last week, my fiance and I closed on a house and I got a bonus in which I went ahead and celebrated with the purchase of a Playstation Vita (Since at the moment, there's no way I could hog the TV for 2-4 hours at night playing PS3.. It just wasn't going ot happen).

      SO I Downloaded
      MOtorstorm RC - Free
      Plants vs. Zombies
      Pinball
      Marvel vs. Capcom 3
      Stardust Delta

and I got the deal that came with free game
      Hot Shots golf

I've yet to turn on my PS3 in the new house, and the only issue I have with the Vita is that in the amounts of time I have to play it before bed, on the ****ter, waiting on food or during one of those "desperate housewives" girl shows, I can't decide which to boot up because I really enjoy each one of them.

Really great purchase for me, I don't regret it one bit. It is truly an amazing little machine - The only thing I would have done is purchased it at release. I also wish I could purchase Rayman, Disgaea 3, Fifa, mortal Kombat and the Show right now but a.) I couldn't get that past the fiance and b.) There's just not enough time to enjoy all of them if I got them now on top of what I'm already playing.

If you have your doubts or are on the fence I'd definitely encourage anyone who loves video games to take the jump... Still early with games, so I can only imagine it getting much better especially when this year's new sports titles start hitting.

It's pretty responsive and accurate. There's the odd time I mess up an input, but it's just user error more then buttons not registering. Online netcode is pretty good. D-pad is pretty responsive. You can use the left analog stick but it's too inaccurate compared to the D-Pad.

        Loving it so far.

Did they include the story mode in the Vita MK?

It has every bit of content the PS3 has, plus more.

An interesting tidbit from the PC Mag review too... it saves data to the game cartridge, instead of to the Vita

NetherRealms brings the violent, hard-hitting Mortal Kombat to the PS Vita with tons of new features (and console DLC) that will appeal to any MK fan.

I was really hoping you would answer that with a no. I would feel better about not being able to buy it.

Well, MK is everything I was hoping for. So awesome, and an incredible job done by the devs to shrink this into a portable. Though the fighter models are SLIGHTLY dumbed down, this game looks and plays incredible. Another must-own on the Vita.

Would love to play you sometime, DD. Already 35 challenges deep on the bonus CT, and another 20 or so on the standard one. Taking my time to enjoy this game again, I went through it too fast on the consoles last year.

Yeah, plays just like I remember the PS3 version playing. Should probably mention that it's 60 frames per second during gameplay, but definitely drops some in the menus and during scenes and fatalities. Butter smooth during the actual fighting, though.

I had forgotten how much I suck at this game...

In my own defense, all but one of those round losses came against the two bosses (Shang got me once). Screw Goro and Kahn's hit-absorbing, seriously.

Also managed to squeak by easy with a few more losses. Normal is going to be hell, as it always is.

Liu Kang is my main, btw - has been ever since the first MK.

Scorpion and Raiden are my two favorite characters right now. Have gotten used to some of their combos and such, really liking them.

This seems to be a theme for the games on Vita. I'm sure there are some lousy ones and I haven't touched them but everything I've gotten so far from real games to little app download like games are just awesome on the Vita.

It sounds like MK is no different to have the power there and portable it's ridiculously cool and convenient.

Again, I'd reiterate, if you're on the fence get a Vita because you're going to enjoy it. Well worth it, and you don't know it's worth the $250 until you actually get it (I admit I had my doubts) - I wonder if someone that bought a Vita doesn't like it?

Like yesterday, nothing like sitting out on the patio with steaks on the grill and lounging with a vita in the hands and a beer by the side until they were done. Pretty cool.
