And I know for a fact your with me DJ. If they have a defensive reverse player lock camera it becomes a definite buy.

But at same time would be pissed if they put that in a Vita game and still can't get it into the console versions.
A few others on GAF have reported seeing it and compared it ti the iPad version. Not sure how true but wouldn't it be closer to the pap version?

The biggest problem with the Vita right now is how it's being supported by Sony, IMO.

I've said this once already, but when Nintendo devotes and entirely seperate, hour-long conference to the 3DS and its games, while Sony barely spends 5 minutes on the Vita during E3... that tells me a lot in regards to the direction these two handhelds are going.

It's a beautiful piece of hardware and tech that isn't getting any attention, and why should it when the company that made it doesn't even treat it that well?

I bought Madden on the iPad for $0.99. That was even a waste of money. It can't possibly be that bad on the Vita I would hope.

I got a bit burnt out on it but this still is pretty dam awesome. I'm going to pick it back up after the real AS break and continue. I may even just keep it for next year too. For some reason the odd year numbered MLB shows never seem to go well for me.

Yeah, I'm a little different. I made a post about it somewhere, but I probably do three or four Vita games to one PS3 game for The Show, and I'm on Game 150 of my franchise in my first season, having played every game. That means I've played about what... 120 games in my franchise on the Vita? Give or take? I'm certainly not burned out haha.

I haven't played many games of The Show on my Vita. I just don't like it as much as the PS3 version without the sounds of The Show and the replays.

Are you playing all those games on the Vita at your house over the PS3 version?

Well I have two televisions in my room, and lately I've been using one to watch MLB.TV and the other to watch regular television (or a sports broadcast on it). When I do that, I'll play it on the Vita. When I'm downstairs watching something else on TV or whatever, I'll play it on the Vita.

Then when I teach and have a prep period, I'll also fire up the game. So yes, there are definitely times when I've played the Vita version over the PS3 version, simply for convenience.

Unit 13 is severely underrated - game got mediocre reviews but I LOVED it!

How's the single-player for this? If I recall, this is a 3rd-person shooter?

yes third person, there is only single player and co-op, There are single missions to play in the single player, but many of them, its a really cool game and the graphics are nice too.

Agreed, but Sony does have a couple of options. For one, I have to believe Sony could work some type of deal to get EA to port to the Vita (perhaps guarantee certain units sold). Or, another option, at least for hockey, is for Sony to make a first party game as they already do for baseball. With 2k dropping out of hockey, why not make a hockey game for the PS3 and the Vita? These things would require Sony to stand behind the Vita and stick their neck out. Based on their presentation (or lack thereof) at E3, Sony does not seem willing to do what may have to be done.

Once the sports game start rolling out, I mean they have to give some of the sports game we love a t least one shot at a vita version, when that happens, we will see.

Hope COD is the saver at this point, I hope it can live up to being the best hand held game we want it to be.
I hope you are right, but I don't see many sports games coming for the Vita. Still a smaller installed user base than the PSP, and no NCAA or NHL games for the PSP in several years. Why would a developer make an NCAA or hockey game for the Vita if they wouldn't have been making it for the PSP (which, in theory, would have sold better). I really believe the only way sports games blossom on the Vita is if Sony somehow gets it to happen.
