Mainly because it's Madden 12, I have no interest. Yeah I know having a FB game on the gois cool but not going to pay 39 or whatever it's going to cost for basically a year old game I've already played.

I'll rent it from GF first to see how the game is before even considering a purchase.

We have a thread for it but for now, I'll just put this in here.

          ...

Call of Duty on Vita to get big Gamescom showing next week

Activision and Sony will finally reveal more about Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified at Gamescom next week.

At E3, all the two firms offered up was a logo – yet the clock is ticking on a game that is not only out in a matter of months, but hugely important to the health of SCE’s burgeoning portable games platform.

“You can really expect us to deliver a true Call of Duty experience,” Michael Sportouch, Activision’s European VP and GM of the Santa Monica business unit, told MCV.

“We are really excited about the opportunities that the Vita could offer us in terms of connecting with a new audience.”

Black Ops Declassified will bring “a true Call of Duty experience”,details @ Gamescon

Activision has revealed that more details on Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified will be announced at next week’s Gamescom expo in Germany. According to Activision European vice president Michael Sportouch, the game will deliver “a true Call of Duty experience” and Activision is “really excited about the opportunities that the Vita could offer us in terms of connecting with a new audience."

Activision and Sony haven’t said anything about Black Ops Declassified since its announcement at E3. Back in June, the first details about the game were revealed through retail listings, including the fact that Black Ops Declassified includes “both Special Ops Story mode and Multiplayer combat tailored for the PS Vita.” As for the game’s story, we’ve heard only the following teaser: “Before the future could be won, history had to be written.”

Sportouch didn’t reveal exactly when at Gamescom the details will be coming, but since Activision doesn’t hold its own press conference, a safe bet would be Sony’s conference on August 14th. For all the details on Gamescom and when to expect the news, check out our guide to Gamescom.

So has anyone played Sound Shapes?

I just don't know if I can get into a game like that. It has all the fanfare and buildup over the last year and now backed with good reviews. I've read the reviews and looked at some gameplay videos. And I just don't know if I would be able to get into a game like that. But I'm on the fence and willing to give it a shot if it's that good.

Anyone have any impressions on the game?

I have the same fears, I am intrigued by the reviews but not sure if I can take the plunge.

This COD has a chance to really boost sales for this console. A true FPS experience on this thing with that type of multiplayer has a chance to really make noise.

I have no interest in COD (camera makes me sick) but I hope for the Vita's sake, the game does really well.

On average how much is everyone getting out of their battery on the Vita? I have everything pretty much turned off except for wireless. I also power down the Vita after I am done instead of putting it in sleep mode. Between last night and today, I've played about 1.5 hrs on it and I am at half a battery.

It seems like I'm getting about 3 hours off of full charge.

I get between 3 and 4. Not a scientific value as I haven't actually timed it. Just seems to be right. When we went to pismo beach a few weeks ago I remember getting in 6-7 games of MLB the show on a full battery before I had to plug it in.

I have no data but I get pretty decent battery. I've played a bit daily, not much but a little bit throughout and charge every other day or every 3rd day.
