Vita is picking up! Street Fighter X Tekken is a quality game and Need for Speed is freaking amazing. AC: Liberation is somewhat of a letdown, though. I returned it based on reading people say there is frequent slowdown. I will wait for a big price drop.
Call of Duty is coming this month, Ragnarok looks interesing, and that Persona game is sure to be a good title, in fact, I believe it's a HD remake of a title which garnered much praise.Comment

The PSP is outselling the Vita in Japan nearly 3:1, the 3DS more than 10:1 last week:

Sony still won't report Vita sales, they lump them in with PSP sales. They sold 3m units (PSP+PSV) in the last 6 months, so are expecting to sell 7m between October and March.
I just don't see a reason for 3rd parties to support this handheld.Last edited by mestevo; 11-01-2012, 10:18 AM.Comment

Unfortunately the headlines will be Sony revising their sales estimates again from 12m to 10m (down from 16m in May) and the lowest sales week every in Japan as SFxT released and nobody (~5k) bought it.

Always gotta be the Debby Downer of the Vita thread - we get it.
All I know is, the people who have the handheld are enjoying the hell out of it.
I'm one of them!Comment

If I rode the bus regularly or something I'd almost certainly own one, but when I have time for gaming I have access to my consoles and PC.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I'm having an issue finishing games right now. Dang MLB 12 The Show and its cross-saves tends to be my most-played game. I've got a handful of games that I've started, but haven't finished: Uncharted, Gravity Rush and MGS: HD Collection. I've also got a few things I still need to unlock in Hot Shots Golf and have a career going in FIFA and Madden.
Then, there's the games I want to get:
Zero Escape
Silent Hill
AC: Liberation
Little Big Planet
Virtua Tennis
Lego Batman 2
Oh, and I've got The Warriros and MotorStorm RC downloaded on my Vita as well.
This is more than enough to keep me as a Vita-owner satisfied. Now, I've just got to find a system to actually finish these games.Currently Playing:
MLB The Show 25 (PS5)Comment

I have been buying the physical games, now I have bought a few digital, I'm starting to only like the digital version of the games. I need to get my hands on the 32gb card now, as I only use the Vita for games and not anything else, so I should be good.N.Y Mets

I really like it! I'm not a huge arcade racing person, but it's fun to drive around an open world and kick up dust. I still haven't seen a full car list though. This game on a handheld is awesome.

Little Big Planet
Metal Gear Solid
Silent Hill
Retro City Rampage
Lumines
Plus some PSP stuff. And I'll get COD later this month. I really hope they put an NBA 2K on it next year.
DJ what settings are you playing Madden on? i'm getting closer to settling on some myself.Comment

But the Vita has no games! This is a great system, I already have too many games for it:
MLB The Show
Madden
FIFA
Little Big Planet
Metal Gear Solid
Silent Hill
Retro City Rampage
Lumines

I haven't played Madden in a week, so whatever I posted last in the Madden thread is what I'm using. Let me know what you've found, though, because I'm done with the 360 version, so the Vita is going to have to suffice for my NFL fix.Currently Playing:

Son of a ... Retro City Rampage! Add another one to the list.

You will DEFINITELY wanna add NFS: Most Wanted to your list at some point as well, lol!Comment

Retro City Rampage is my No. 1 to-get-game after I finish Rayman Origins. BC's write up a few pages back sold me but I too have been engrossed in MLB and now I have Rayman so...Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
