Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
There are a few solid games on that list, but I have no interest in the majority of them. I'm also in a similar boat as Kevin.
I do intend to get ahold of Mortal Kombat, HSG, and a good racing game.
It's too bad we can't get an NHL or UFC game.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Right now we only have Killzone: Mercenary, Tearaway, and Invizimals coming from Sony - that's not how you support your troubling platform in its second year.
And Sony's measly 5M forecast for Vita and PSP combined in the next FY, is just about a declaration from themselves, that they aren't looking to do much to turn around its fortunes. A damn shame it is, but PS4 is way more important and all hands should be on deck.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Gotcha. I usually will buy for the Vita 1st as I game on it when I travel, and most cross platform games I have been buying on the 360 (won't be the case for next generation though, I'm PS4 next generation). Some, like Dungeon Hunter, I actually played all the way through on both platforms (PS3 and Vita).Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Don't get why folks say there's not enough good games. Here's a short list of my favorite games on the Vita for those with paper weight Vita...
- Assassins Creed III - Liberation
- Dungeon Hunter: Alliance
- Gravity Rush
- Hot Shots Golf (and I hate golf, but this game is fun)
- Jetpack Joyride
- Lego Lord of the Rings
- Little Big Planet Vita
- Madden 13
- Metal Gear Solid HD 2 - Sons of Liberty
- Metal Gear Solid HD 3 - Snake Eater
- Mortal Kombat
- Need for Speed Most Wanted
- Retro City Rampage
- Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
- Super Stardust Delta
- Soul Sacrifice
- Unchartered: Golden Abyss
- Virtual Tennis 4
There are some other solid games that I haven't had time to play like Ninja Gaiden, Oddworld, Persona, and Rayman Origins not to mention a few FPS games like Resistence, COD, and Unit 13, and for the kids there at least 4 Lego games available, possibly more by now.Currently Playing:
MLB The Show 25 (PS5)Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I think they're treading water with the Vita until the PS4. Depending on how well it sells as a little more than a PS4 accessory will determine the future of the handheld, and potentially their entire handheld division IMO. Their forecasts are usually really ambitious, surprised to read about the 5m earlier.
Would be tough to convince developers to make games for a system with those sales projection numbers and they're coming from the company that produces the system. Sony has quite a few development houses and it doesn't look like even they're going to try very hard to create much for it. IMO and I hope I'm wrong b/c I'm in love with this system......it's going to be a system for indie developers and nothing much else. Highly doubt any future games the size of Uncharted will show up after this yearLast edited by blueduke; 05-10-2013, 12:31 AM.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
If we go the Classic / PSP route, I have both God of Wars, Sim City, and the GTA: Chinatown Wars (definitely a fun / little game for PSP or Vita IMHO). Definitely a ton of throw back games available for a reasonable price.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I wonder what this could be?
SCEE exec:
Oh and there is an AMAZING big title coming to Vita. I can’t tell you anything about it, except that you are gonna be hooked for hours.
Clarification. Hooked for hours “a day”. Clue, not indie. And: alk about one title doesn’t preclude othersI thought some people might think that, but in *this* case it’s not developed by an indie.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
That's true. But not enough to ruin the game/experience. It's not ALL the time, but when it happens, it can be annoying. It's impressive what the Vita is able to do though as it's a full on Assassin's Creed game with virtually same experience you get on XBox 360 or PS3.Comment
