Quick question, not sure if this been answered, but will we be able to use a Vita as a controller on the PS4?

They haven't said specifically, but it would seem like it would be able to. I mean, every game has been mandated to have it's controls mapped to the Vita, and the Vita can be used as a controller on the PS4 (in very specific cases, point is it has the capability), so you would think yes. Only reason I can think of not to, is that Sony wants you to buy DS4s.

Now that I have one I am completely expecting a revised Vita SKU with button parity w/ the DS4.

No sports but the Show the next cycle/forseeable future I think? Unless you stream it from the PS4 of course.

FIFA 14 is coming September 24, but who knows how much new content, if any, will be present.

FIFA 13 Vita was basically a copy of FIFA 12 Vita.

Well, that's good news. I hope EA adds sliders and can also add some of the new defensive controls. I still play FIFA Soccer on Vita and enjoy it, but find myself stuck between the two highest difficulties.

Unless it is announced last-minute, there will be no Vita version this year. That's a shame because Madden 13 on Vita was better than the 360/PS3. Very strong first effort on the Vita.

Yeah, last years Madden was good on the Vita. Too bad there isn't a new version this year.

NCAA 14, Madden 25, NHL 14, NBA 2K14...NOT Coming to Vita, all we got is FIFA coming to Vita where did sony go wrong to not secure these major sports franchises on their handheld? oh well atleast I have Killzone in September..

I'm looking forward to the Batman game. Elements of metroid and castlevania? That has me so intrigued. I loved that playstyle and long for it. Nothing more gratifying than finding a new power or something so you could GO BACK to an area to access previously unreachable areas. Still have a GBA and metroid in a drawer in my nightstand. Not to say that this batman game will be like that but I'm hoping.

Sony says that Gamescom is going to be a PS Vita show. Not sure what they mean by this. Possible price drop? I hope cheaper/larger memory at the very least.

You also get 2 great portable baseball games.

The thing here is, those games aren't on ANY handheld, are they? Which boils down to the developers... Short of making them themselves, there's not much Sony could do.
