You also get 2 great portable baseball games.

The thing here is, those games aren't on ANY handheld, are they? Which boils down to the developers... Short of making them themselves, there's not much Sony could do.

No doubt. I still think MLB 12 is better than 13 on the Vita, but both are fantastic. I really haven't played a bad sports title on the Vita, just wish there were more options. Like you said, Slab, gotta get the game publishers and developers to get behind this system.

Virtue's Last Reward hits PSN + for free today. Was a solid 40-hour experience for me, and a great visual novel/puzzler. I'd still encourage people to play 999 first if you have the means, though it's not totally necessary.

just gotta say I've been playing a lot of MLB 13 on the Vita lately, so much that I don't even play the PS3 version anymore, this game rocks on Vita

I hope we still get a Vita MLB 14 version...with the PS4 MLB 14 being remote playable on Vita, I still hope they make a Vita version for those that dont have a PS4 or are way far away from home and not able to remote play it(dont you have to have the disc in your PS4 and be relatively close to home?)

I know what you mean. I play it more than the PS3 version. Mainly because of the convenience of relaxing with the Vita, and also that it is just that good!

To that end, I can't recommend FIFA Soccer enough. Outstanding effort by EA on the Vita with this game. CPU is a tough opponent and when you dive into Career, you'll notice the CPU adapting to how you play, so you need to change tactics to create scoring chances.

The crowd noise is great and commentary is quite good. Framerate is solid during gameplay and visuals are nice.

FIFA, Madden, Hot Shots Golf, Virtua Tennis 4 and of course, MLB The Show, make for a great sports lineup.
