    Here is the updated link

From Yahoo, the Worst Product Flops of 2012

Released first in Japan in December 2011 and then globally in February 2012, initial sales of the PlayStation Vita were encouraging. By the end of February, the company announced it had sold approximately 1.2 million units, followed by an additional 2 million units of software for the handheld game console. Yet sales quickly declined. From its release date to June 30, just 2.2 million PlayStation Vita units were sold, far less than the 3.6 million units Nintendo 3DS sold in just its first month. Recently, Sony has clumped sales of the Vita and its predecessor, the PSP, together to avoid highlighting embarrassing sales figures. Frequent complaints about the Vita were that the $300 price tag was too expensive and that its game lineup was both weak and small, especially given the availability of cheaper gaming through smartphones and tablets.

The SOS feature in P4G is neat. It helped me complete the second dungeon/rescue the first day. I don't mind Chie's new VA, and actually think it fits her character better. Teddie's VA is better too. People just have to much nostalgia for a game that's only 4 years old. Marie seems okay, but not great so far. Playing on Normal because I don't want to do a lot of grinding and I would like to try and get through my first playthrough before Ni No Kuni comes out.

Also, for those playing it for the first time, stay away from guides outside of boss and dungeon strategies. It can be overwhelming, but it's best to make your own choices and not go down a checklist to max every social-link. The Vox Populi feature (speech bubble in top left corner of the screen when online) lets you see what others are doing that day and can give you hints on somethings you maybe didn't know about if you're unsure.

Who was it who told me that deleting game data would keep one's saved data? Because this isn't the case for Hot Shots Golf.

              Great.
Yeah, I think the way it works is that the save files for downloaded games are tied into the full game download - you can't just copy them to another media separately, or delete them seperately. It worked like that for me when I copied Zen and Pinball Arcade to my PC and then to a different memory card - I didn't even need to redownload the tables or the unlock key. Everything was all together in one package.

For hard-copy games, the save files are the only thing that can be copied.

So yeah, if you had a downloaded HSG game and deleted the game data, the save data is probably lost too.

It does give 2 different warnings to this effect when you choose to delete something - for downloaded games it says "this application and all related data will be deleted", but for a hard-copy game it just says "all data related to this application will be deleted".

Very interesting then, and definitely counter-intuitive. One would imagine that downloading games would be beneficial if you could jump in and out of actually having it on your system while keeping your data. Of course, this doesn't work if you can't actually keep said data.

Well this is no good now. ****.

All Saved Data and Game Data are tied together on the Vita - it's stupid.

Always remember to back up or take advantage of your Auto Upload to Cloud with PS Plus.

Okay, as long as the Vita has that as well, that's good.

I just renewed my PS+ yesterday, so I'll be sure to activate that.

You'll have to do it manually since it doesn't work like the PS3 does (when you boot up a new game, message pops up asking if you'd like to Auto Upload Yes/No)

So, head to your Content Manager and select Cloud Saves

                      Then choose Vita --> Cloud

All your games will show up...

Select game, then next page you'll see an "i" (information), click that and you should see a check box for Auto Upload.

Yeah, the SOS feature can definitely be a nice bailout when you're low on SP IF you actually get the help. I usually wouldn't get more than 1 person helping which isn't really worth it.

As far as Chie goes, I did warm up to the new voice as I went through the game. Plus I'm watching the anime and it's the same voice actress there too, so it's good that they matched them up.

Agree wholeheartedly about playing through the game making your own decisions on social links - I didn't even look at a guide until I beat the whole thing. Maxing out all the social links is meant to be for a 2nd playthrough anyway, since you'll be building up your personality stats on the first run-though (yes, it has a New Game + where you carry over certain things).

I think the majority of people who own the Vita are impressed by it. Nobody is impressed by the sales numbers or the price of everything, though.
