Got the vita a couple of days ago, but I'm considering returning it since I notice there's not too many games for it and also seems like many publishers have abandoned the vita.

I have a backlog of PS Vita games to play. IMO this is the best time to own a Vita. There lots of games coming, and remote play with the PS4 is great.

I wonder if we'll be able to use remote play outside our homes. That would be great. As far as games, I noticed there was no new EA sports titles on it or other sports besides the show.

I wouldn't. There is some great games out there, especially if you have PS Plus. Check out Gravity Rush, Borderlands 2 (if you haven't played it yet), Hotline Miami, the Jak and Daxter collection is fun, the God of War collection, Persona 4, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, The Show 14 and there's a ****load more.

In fact, I'm playing PS One's Chrono Trigger and PSP's Monster Hunter on my Vita too.

I'm really glad my friend talked me into getting one.

It's possible but your PS4 needs to be hardwired into your modem/router. If it is wireless it is possible based on how far away you are from your PS4. I tried it at work (1.5 miles from home), logged into my work wifi and was unable to connect with my PS4 (that is hooked up wirelessly).

In my home on the same wifi, I have little issue depending on if anyone else in the home is streaming something (Netflix, etc).

I've played my ps4 fine over the Internet and through a powerline adapter. If network conditions are right it works.

If you aren't seeing games to justify your purchase now though I'm not sure what's coming that the above posters think will change your mind.

Patch coming to improve performance of Borderlands 2 on the Vita... Digital Foundry analysis was not kind, found the game typically runs between 8-30 FPS

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this an issue with MLB14 the show on the Vita: http://theshownation.com/bug_reports/13378

Post game saving just hangs during franchise and you have to just reset/close your game. Just happened to me and didnt want to replay the game so I just simmed it and moved onto the next day.

I had an issue with cloud saves hanging, but that cleared itself up thankfully.

Yeah the more I play the more it lasts which causes my aim to go all over the place when the framerate is done chugging

I'm no FPS savant, but it rarely hits and stays steady at 30. Somehow its still playable, but the whole time all I think about is, that it should be better.

I'm about to add to it this month with Sly Cooper (cross-buy with PS3, which is free on PS+ this month - that equals free Vita game) as well as one unexpected niche title.

Yeah, between physical games, digital downloads, PSP and PSOne Classics, I have a library of games that will last me a good while.

My only concern at the moment is whether to get the Slim model or not. The extra battery life is a nice benefit, especially for me as I travel quite a bit for work.

Same here. I rarely buy Vita games -- there are so many good ones on PS+ that I don't have to, so I can wait on the big sales.
