Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Co-op seems pretty fun too at least in the early missions. Ran into some lag problems on release day, hopefully that's cleared up when I jump back in again.
Haven't had much time to play since release day but hoping to jump back in tomorrow. I at least got to the point where I wasn't getting years added to my sentence for breathing! LOL
Oh also, we don't really have to be in the same panopticon to do multiplayer, there's an option in the room create to allow any panopticon to join you in that room.Comment

I wish Sony didn't abandon the Vita. It's an awesome handheld and PSTV seems like a mess.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Looks like I'll actually be playing Hearts R tonight, riding the coattails of a Gamestop Halo/AC midnight release.
I mean I'm eager to play it, but I probably wouldn't do this unless I was already going to be in town around 10:30 - 11.Last edited by bcruise; 11-10-2014, 01:55 PM.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
As it stands now, I have all the Vita games and I need and once I finish those, I guess I'll just hold onto the thing for nostalgia purposes. Too bad really, because it is an impressive handheld.Currently Playing:

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Is mlb the show 15 slated for a vita release? I'll declare it dead if no more show versions come out. It's really the one reason I bought it. Even though it plays a lot different than its older brother.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. It'll probably be a roster update with some minor additions, though.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Hearts R may be a DS game originally, but it only looks like that in the flatness of the textures. The colors are nice and vibrant. and the graphics sharp. It looks much closer to a Vita game than an original DS one, and much, much better than the Symphonia PS3 port IMO.
The battles are pretty reminiscent of Abyss and Symphonia's combat - with D-pad controlling the distance between you and a selected enemy, and a free run with the left stick to break off that axis. AI seems to perform well enough so far, Tales standard fare.
It's fun. No comments on the plot until I get a ways in, except to say the game doesn't waste a whole lot of time getting into the story.Comment
