I've spent the last hour or so researching this (and printing out forms, calling Sony, etc).

The claimants need to have purchased a Vita Prior to June 1, 2012 and NOT have returned it for a full refund. That's it. It does not specify that you need to still be in possession of it. Only that you can provide the serial number and proof of purchase.

GameStop customer service was able to access my Powerup Rewards account and emailed me a PDF file of proof of purchase. This I printed out and will include in the claim. Unfortunately, the PDF does not have a GameStop letterhead on it (though it does include the manager's name and transaction number and store number) so I'll just have to cross my fingers they accept it.

If you call 1-800-410-5484 and wait (no joke!) through 10 minutes of prompts, you will eventually be allowed to speak to someone through Sony (I think!) that's handling these claims. Otherwise the number has plenty of automated FAQ's.

Vitaclaims.com is where you'll need to go to print the form.

My question was how does the $25 PSN credit get distributed? I asked customer service if I'd be mailed out a gift card or if the funds will be added automatically? This is because NOWHERE on the form does it ask you to tell them WHAT PSN wallet you want the funds added to, only an OPTIONAL line for you to fill out your PSN email address.

I'm concerned that if they distribute it digitally, and automatically based on serial number registration, the person I sold it too would get the funds (maybe I should pick the check! Lol).

A customer service rep told me to get me that answer they'd have to escalate it and that they'd call me back.

If you don't provide your PSN email address, they will most likely default to sending you a check.

Wife has wanted to try Diablo on the Vita once I can locate the power cord. Do I need to do the reformat stuff on the Vita for her to use her profile on the PS4, or can she only use the profile that's loaded on the Vita? They never made that an easier process did they?

Craigslist, typically, outside of really good deals. Best Buy just blew out a bunch of backstock via ebay, and Amazon matched it. The Borderlands bundle for $170.

I've seen them under $100 (mine has sat uncharged for months and I almost bit on getting another at that price) but they're usually $120-150 on Craigslist and often with a couple games.

Thanks for the links. Do you guys think Vita is a good investment these days? I'll mainly be using it to play MLB The Show while my girlfriend hogs up the TV with her stupid reality shows. It'll also be nice to play on the go but how is the support for it? I thought Sony was leaving the mobile market?

it crashes in the middle of a game on all models slim and original.


Only game i played on a daily basis
