'13 is night and day better in just about every way.

I wouldn't go that far. I think 13 is the better game but 12 is no slouch.

Agreed about no slouch. But improvements in just about every area that were needed makes it feel so much better. Plus with the league change with Houston, franchise and RttS upgrades, as well as HRD cross play, it is the far better game if you were to choose.

Thanks guys it seems MLB 13 is the way to go. How does the game look on the Vita? I have read neither '12 or '13 take advantage of the Vita's graphical abilities.

They don't. After seeing what PYS13 is able to accomplish on it as a baseball game, MLB 13 feels sub par graphically.

I think the biggest knocks on the Vita version of The Show are:

-Created player faces look like they've been stung by bees

-No players/coaches in the dugouts

-No basecoaches

-Fans behind home plate don't look very good

I think overall the game looks just fine on the Vita. It's not PS3 quality but it's definitely much-improved over the PSP versions.

Pretty nice way to do a demo. It's the game's first chapter, playable online, AND the save carries over into the full game.

so nhl 14 was announced and its not coming to vita, looks like no ncaa 14 as well and madden 25 has not been confirmed yet...hopefully we get nba 2k14 and fifa...but atleast we have our mlb!

Just be patient. When the new system comes out, things could take a drastic change with our little handheld powerhouse.

Not surprising with NHL. They only released one PSP game and that was 07. NCAA had 3 games (07, 09, 10) and the last two weren't very good. I liked 07 but had a copy with the ball spot glitch (if you broke a long run, but were touched by a defensive player, the ball would be spotted at that point, not where the run ended) and could never find a "patched" copy; EA fixed the issue with a re-release of 07 but by the time I bought a PSP, only used copies were available so it was a crapshoot every time.

Madden 13 is really good on the Vita. Better than the 360/PS3, I think. I hope 14/25 is released.

NBA 2K would be nice, if they actually put the effort into making a good game. The PSP versions were bad ports of the PS2 version.

The Show, FIFA, Madden, Virtua Tennis and Hot Shots is a nice sports gaming rotation, though.

Also there was no FIFA announced today along with the other platforms. Sites on Twitter speculating it'll just be a port again released later with less fanfare, while others lament it being excluded altogether.

Seems very possible that the only way to play EA Sports titles on the Vita this year could be streamed from your PS4.

I wouldn't be surprised if this were indeed true. I, for one, would be sad as I like to have physical copies of games.

Yes, interesting that they mentioned a PC version but not a Vita version for FIFA in today's news.

Maybe a Vita version will be announced later?

Soul Sacrifice demo is now up as PNS in up and running again. Downloading now and going to try it.
