Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I received a PS vita as a gift in the hospital. I was in there for a month with pancreatits, I was releasedl last Thursday. I was surprised when my family brought it in there with some games. Madden, Fifa, and Hotshots golf, and MLB 13 the show were some of them. Then friends and family would come by an visit brought me more vita games as gifts. F1 11 and Tekken vs street fighter were some of the gifts. All good games. It is a nice portable device. I love that I finally got to play MLB 13 the show, I have 360 and I have never played it before. Great baseball game. Not surprising with NHL. They only released one PSP game and that was 07. NCAA had 3 games (07, 09, 10) and the last two weren't very good. I liked 07 but had a copy with the ball spot glitch (if you broke a long run, but were touched by a defensive player, the ball would be spotted at that point, not where the run ended) and could never find a "patched" copy; EA fixed the issue with a re-release of 07 but by the time I bought a PSP, only used copies were available so it was a crapshoot every time.
Madden 13 is really good on the Vita. Better than the 360/PS3, I think. I hope 14/25 is released.
NBA 2K would be nice, if they actually put the effort into making a good game. The PSP versions were bad ports of the PS2 version.
The Show, FIFA, Madden, Virtua Tennis and Hot Shots is a nice sports gaming rotation, though.
I wished they hadn't have done that. With them coming by everyday was enough. I am very blessed for there love and support.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Yep, bad for those of us without a PS3! Gamestop is not showing a Vita version of Madden 25, which is a very bad sign for the Vita. EA was putting out a PSP version every year - to see them abandon the Vita so soon would seem an ominous sign. I get why they would not release NHL or NCAA every year, but I must admit I am a bit surprised they don't (didn't?) make just one version to have out there on the market. Also there was no FIFA announced today along with the other platforms. Sites on Twitter speculating it'll just be a port again released later with less fanfare, while others lament it being excluded altogether.
Seems very possible that the only way to play EA Sports titles on the Vita this year could be streamed from your PS4.Comment

Glad you are out of the hospital! Enjoy your Vita. It is definately the closest thing that has even been created to put a true console experience into a mobile device.I received a PS vita as a gift in the hospital. Re: Sony PSVbTA Discussion
Thanks! I have been slowly getting my strength back. I am gym nut 6 days a week, tough to adjust not being able to go for safety reasons. I have been doing stuff around the home. Should get there soon, just cannot push it to hard, body is still healing up.
I just looking at the games available for download(ps one clx, PSP) Nice library of games, including the games I have. I just hope EA doesn't abandon it. Madden and FiFa are pretty good on the Vita!Comment

FIFA 14 is now showing up on gamestop's site for Vita...so its coming to Vita
Madden 25 is not showing up, neither is ncaa or nhl, I Hope we get an NBA 2K14Comment

That would be horrible if we don't get NCAA, Madden or NHL for the Vita.
All three would be great to play on the go. MLB The Show just keeps impressing me more and more. They are so far ahead of EA it's not even funny.Texas A&M Aggies

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I'm likely going to purchase the digital version of The Show sometime this weekend. I don't really have any interest in a new FIFA game anytime soon. I'll be good with FIFA 13 until the end of time.
I would love an NHL game or even an NCAA game that resembled something from the PS2 days. I think this is where I'm going to miss NBA Live the most. They made a pretty fun PSP game and I played it a bunch. They would certainly have a release for the VITA, even if I would prefer 2K.
I'll be glad when developers start pushing out more VITA titles. When I browse the available games, It's a bit disappointing
Sports games are important to me because it's easier to pick up and play on the go. Unless I'm in a hotel or away from home and have plenty of down time, I don't have much urge to sit and become immersed in a deep story mode. I would rather get that from my 360 or PS3.
I'm probably alone with that mindset.Comment

I am kind of in that boat. I have a 360 and like time to play RPG's, Halo, games that are deep story modes and campaigns. I did receive Persona 4 golden as gift, played the other versions on the ps2. Seeing that I have to heal up before I go back to work, I will work it in with the rotation with my sport, fighting, and racing titles for my Vita.I'm likely going to purchase the digital version of The Show sometime this weekend. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
If you guys are looking for something new to play on the Vita, I highly recommend checking out Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2013. I finally got my copy in the mail this week and it plays an amazing game of baseball. It's just like the PS3 version only in a lower resolution with no anti-aliasing and no online play. This is the best video I could find of it on Youtube:

Yeah, love this game, especially with the DLC that was recently added. I find Hot Shots to be more fun and challenging than EA's Tiger Woods series.Currently Playing:
