Yeah you are right, I will not get any value of continuing my MLB franchise at home in the backyard watching my kids, or playing games on my Vita while my wife is watching some stupid show on tv. Maybe I will cancel my order.

What you might find worthwhile by taking this thing outside everywhere, listening to it as an MP3 player, etc. is your wants and needs vs. some people on here that will be using it much differently, especially for those that already have smartphones, etc.
I know, my point wasn't serious... it was pointing back at people who questioned why I had certain concerns. I am only bringing that question back onto everybody else.

And the answer is as you said: we all have different needs for the device, and find values in certain ways. It's not like when people are posting about how antsy they are to get their Vitas today, I start posting about why they are spending $100 more for something that will be coming out next week, etc. So then I ask why people are jumping over my concerns so greatly. Basically, don't worry about it.

(that wasn't directed toward you, just anybody in general)

Yeah I'm getting this and using it myself like a mini PS3. The last time we went on vacation I packed up my PS3 and a bunch of games in my back pack! No longer will I have to do this.

We're taking a mini vacation in March so I'll be sure I have it by then.

Looks nice, however I would rather have a case that can hold the charger too.

I dont think there's a hard shell case big enough for all that though. On trips etc when I have to take charger it will all be in a backpack anyways.

I'm sure eventually they'll have something larger. I got my son a DS case that holds chargers, game carts, headphones, stylus' etc... It's a travel case at it's best.

Yep. I just mainly want it for storage at house and small trips. Don't see me taking it on longer trips etc.. but for those that do it would be nice to have a bigger case for all items.

I'm one weak individual. Just called my local GameStop and asked the Mgr if they had any more bundles. He said it was only for pre-orders but if anyone cancels I will get 1st dibs. Sometimes I can just kick myself.

Well FIFA is amazing to play. I logged many hours in on the 360, and if you turn the rear touch screen off, it plays damn near identical.
