Yep, Hotshots is fantastic. I'm probably going to pick up another game today, probably Uncharted.

I wish there were a couple more games I wanted because I would jump on that Target B2G1 sale next week. But I only wanted HSG, MNR, and Uncharted at launch. I haven't bought Uncharted yet, so I could get it in that deal, just don't know what the other 2 games would be. Plus I kind of like digital games.

I picked up 2 PSvita's last night (one for my son and one for myself) and I must say the HW is AMAZING!! Set up was pretty straight forward. Had to update the firmware and after the update I was able to sign into my PSN account.

The games that I played were Uncharted, Fifa, and little Deviants. All games were great. I never played Fifa so I was having a hard time figuring out the controls but the game looked great on the Vita.

Played a little bit of Little Deviants and it is fun. Uncharted was the game I played the most and I must say the game plays and looks great on it. I played 2 chapters and the story is looking good. The controls are fun too and work really well with the game. I have beats headphones (Solo HD) and the sound is really good. The one thing I was confused about was the fact that when I start Uncharted, i get a notification in the upper left hand corner that Network Features are disabled. Not sure if someone with the game is also getting this. I am connected to my wifi and my psn. Just wondering if it was disabled for the game on purpose.

Looking forward to playing the Show on this!!

How are the apps so far (Music & Video Player, Netflix)? I don't wanna make a decision in haste and end up regretting it. For the guys that own them, are you mostly playing on the go or at home? If at home, why are you not playing the PS3?

If you're on the fence now, I think you'd be best to wait it out, which is what I'm attempting to do. Although it doesn't help when you see display stands being put out for the damn thing at work.

Anyways, I think it's best to hold off to see how it sells first (poor sales could result in price cuts sooner than later), and to see what the issues or shortcomings are.

More impressions from last night:

1. I had every intention of slapping Little Deviants on eBay the minute I got the system but it sat around on the couch all day and my 5 year old boy wanted to check out the Vita before bed. So I said what the hell and popped it in. He's too little to enjoy Virtua Tennis or FIFA. After getting adjusted we played this game like whack-a-mole where you either had to hit the back touch panel or the front screen depending on which way the target was facing. He couldn't get the hang of the back panel so I told him to take the front screen and I'd take the back panel so he snuggled up next to me on the couch and we played it together. He was giggling like crazy and after the level was over he told me, "Dad, that was the most fun I've ever had playing a game with you." For those of you that have kids you know you can't put a price on comments like that.

2. Near - I was surprised when I used this at how many people near my house got a early 3G bundle. Probably 8 or 10 people within 10 km (why the hell do they use km on this app? this is america. what's a kilometer?) I'm not a very social person but it was interesting to see how many people close to my house are PS3 gamers. I have like 2 or 3 people on my PS3 friends list, but some guy named "DevilMix666" (lol) by my house added me as a friend after seeing me on Near. Pretty cool that I can find gamers in my area this way and potentially play PS3 games with them going forward.

Great moments with the little one and that's awesome it shows people close by who are online.

I'm still on the fence, but if I get one, it's for both. I'll probably take mine with my to work every day and play at lunch, but I'll play at home if I just want to lay in bed, or when I wake up and don't feel like getting out of bed, or if the wife or daughter are in the living room watching TV.

This was very easy to set up and update the firmware!!!! I did all the basics last night and the play thing. Will begin games today. Surfed around psn and music and movies!
All I can say is Wow!!

Well just got the call from my local GameStop mgr to let me know that they had a bundle cancel. I will be picking this up when I get off. Not going to buy any games till Sunday morning with the buy 2/1 free offer

When you pick up your Vita go ahead and buy a game you want. When the buy 2 get 1 free deal starts Sunday, buy the same game in the deal and then take it back to GameStop. If you do that you can start playing now instead of waiting until the deal starts.

These impressions are great and Near sounds great. 7 more days to go is killer, they should of just released these all on the same day. I'm going to GS during lunch to get that crystal PDP case it reminds me a lot of that Logitech built like a tank case.

Any thoughts on uncharted yet for those that bought it?

Just ordered that PDP folder w/removable carry case. Amazon has it back ordered but PDP says I should have it sooner. We'll see if that holds true.
Also ordered the Vita Headphones through my rewards program. Total cost for headphones? 3,000 points! Haha not bad.

I'm just trying to figure out if I really really want it. I know I want one now, but will I use it? Hmm. I'll figure it out by the end of the month.

I'm right there with you just don't know if it's worth it to buy yet. And I don't mean worth the money cause I think it's going to be a great system just don't know if I would have time to play it.

How do you know when this bad boy is fully charged? I've had it plugged in for over two hours and the orange PS button is still lit up.

When we were using it at Sony, the orange light went off when it was fully charged. 2 hours seems like a long time to me.
