Right now this is my only complaint with this thing... The entire UI just feels very "beta".
I just sorted my stuff to certain pages. All games will be on 1 page etc...

The complaint I have about the interface is they treat everything like an app. Once you press on the app on the screen, you have to press start to use the app. Once I press on the bubble that should put me into the app.

I too took the Vita plunge. I traded most of my video game backlog along with my psp go and psp-2000. I ended up trading in enough for a Vita and 3ds, games and only $6 out of pocket. I was deciding on a game to get while waiting for The Show. I chose Fifa over HSG, Ninja Gaiden, and Rayman. Total haul:

        Vita wifi/3G launch bundle
        Black Nintendo 3ds
        Fifa for Vita
        Mario 3D
        Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D
        Preorder MLB The Show Vita
        Preorder Disgaea 3 Vita
        Vita Screen Protector

6 Bucks out of pocket. Hate to see a large chunk of my collection no longer on my book shelf, but excited to get into this Vita AND 3DS. Games were just collecting dust anyway.

Nice. I traded in $120 worth of games (7 games), had a $50 gift card, and the Vita w/ soft case starter kit & Uncharted. In the end I ended up paying less then $160.

Honestly, this has been one of my bigger setbacks with the game. I need a "little more" to push me toward buying it, but I thought the graphics were just awful in the demo honestly.

              I've been losing sleep.

The only other thing is that I still feel games are too pricey for me to pull the plug on at times. Normally it wouldn't be an issue, but with The Show coming out soon and probably taking up most of my time on this thing, I'm just trying to find enough to tide me over until then. Super Stardust Delta has been doing it so far, but I'm trying to find a way to vary it up.

But when The Show comes out, this will no longer be an issue.

I have only really noticed the grainy graphics at the Maple Leaf course and its not bad really. I only have 2 courses available and the other (Kagurayama Country Club) is gorgeous.

I just played an online game with random people and I played as fast as I could and still had to withdrawal after the 3rd hole. That timer sucks! Can it be adjusted? I don't see anywhere to be able to create a match.

You would need to print the coupon.

Seriously? I compared this to the PS3 just today, and I give the edge to the Vita version without a doubt. Game looks fantastic IMO.

Re: The timer and timeouts - if it says "fast" in the tournament setup, skip your ball flight with the x button. Otherwise you won't finish. You can get away with watching your shots on normal and slower.

I'm going to go up and play Hotshots on my 106" screen now

I haven't played it in years and never got that far with it. I upgraded my hard drive and I doubt I have my save anymore.

Haven't played the PS3 version. I just thought that graininess was really a fallback for it. Maybe it's because I'm looking at games like Super Stardust, WipEout, and Virtua Tennis and not seeing any sort of graphical/framerate dip.

Let me clarify that I'm not just talking about HSG Vita though, I'm referring to golf games in general. I think that Tiger Woods PGA Tour has relatively poor graphics. I don't think they're bad whatsoever, but I'm just surprised that they aren't doing so much more with golf games. I think they're more under the curve than they really should be, but that's just me.
