There's something wrong then. That's the beginning of MGS2.

Definitely MGS 2. Has to be something wrong.

The graphics since this game isnt that detailed anyway, dont look too much different

I know I have to get used to the controls and everything but I hate the camera, and for me to look ahead before i move to a spot to see whats in front of my face, I have to hold the R trigger down, but can't move

            It feels odd right now

Assassin's Creed publisher wants to bring its ‘best stuff’ to Sony’s handheld

Ubisoft has faith in PlayStation Vita. After the announcement of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation last week at E3, we sat down with Ubisoft senior vice president of sales and marketing Tony Key to find out why the company is still interested in supporting Sony’s handheld despite its disappointing sales.

“It’s a really good platform and we’ve always liked it,” Key told IGN. “The way it’s designed, it’s a beautiful piece of hardware. It’s got cool features that you can’t get anywhere else. And Assassin’s Creed, we believe, is the right type of game for that system. It’s definitely too early to say that Vita’s not going to be a success.”

Ubisoft had several titles available at Vita’s launch, including Rayman Origins, Lumines Electronic Symphony, Michael Jackson: The Experience, Dungeon Hunter Alliance and Asphalt Injection. While the system hasn’t quite found its footing yet, Key believes that, along with Assassin’s Creed, Activision’s upcoming Call of Duty game could lead to a big holiday season for Vita.

“Assassin’s Creed III is not the only big Vita game coming this holiday, and I think that’s a good thing,” Key said. “We’re actually very happy that there’s another big Vita game coming for Christmas from a competitor because we think that will raise all boats. It’s going to generate a lot of interest in the Vita this holiday season. Sony’s going to be spending a lot of money and resources to make sure that the Vita is there and it’s relevant and it’s doing well.”

As for the system’s future, Key believes that big games are what will help Vita find success, and that Ubisoft can help by bringing its biggest franchises to the handheld.

“We’re happy to support any cool new hardware system out there. Assassin’s Creed is exactly the type of brand that needs to go on there because we need to put our best stuff on that system.”

                  Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

Played gravity rush for about an hour yesterday. I need to get used to the camera (I use Invert horizontal on all games with camera/fps and always have since Quake 2 ctf days) - So it gets a little tricky to invert horizontally if i'm using the vita movement itself for the camera. So my flying around is not as polished as I would like.

And with that said, Im not sure how I feel about the game yet. Only an hour in and very beginning of game so that's part of it on one end while the other end is from the beginning I don't know if I'm wowed (which I was expecting from the very start to be like WOWWWW, but at the same time I also haven't said SHIIITTTYY lol)

I'm not big on minis anyway even on PS3, but I haven't seen one on Vita that I was even remotely interested in.

Survey Hints at Gran Turismo Vita, New PS Plus Features

The power of the IGN community strikes again. This time, the hero is reader Adam Latham, who has informed IGN PlayStation of an online survey he was asked to take that seems to hint at all sorts of special goodies on the horizon... or at least gauging how interested he’d be in these hypothetical products and offers.

For starters, Mr. Latham was asked about Gran Turismo on PlayStation Vita. “You told us earlier how interested you would be in buying the PS Vita version of the latest Gran Turismo game,” the survey reads. “Knowing that you might be able to get a discount on the PS3 version of the game, how interested are you now in the PS Vita version?”

Another question inquires about future PlayStation Plus offers, a topic we’ve covered in the past. The survey reads: “Imagine that as part of PlayStation Plus, every time you bought a game on either PS3 or PS Vita, you would be entitled to get the game on the other console absolutely free. So, if you bought Resistance on PS Vita, you could download Resistance on PS3 for free. Or if you got FIFA on PS3, you could download the PS Vita version for free.” The Resistance analogy is a little strange since there aren’t literal analogs on both the console and handheld like there is for FIFA, but it seems the focus is more on the idea than anything else.

A third question asked Mr. Latham to score how interested he’d be in buying various PS3 games in different formats, either as a “standard” Blu-ray or digitally via the PlayStation Store for a discount.

We've reached out to Sony for comment on Gran Turismo, the PS+ perks, the digital discounts and the validity of the survey overall. We'll update when when we hear back.

Shows that someone is thinking big with regard to Vita and PS3 connectivity.

Put me down as a fan of all of these ideas.
