Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
LEGO Batman is better reserved for the consoles. The Vita version is a DS port, which just doesn't do the game justice.
I can't speak for Lumines.
I think ModNation Racers must be the most underappreciated game on Vita. A few others here might agree with me. The main problem is that there isn't online play, which is something you would hope they would have patched in. That gripe aside (and don't get me wrong, it's a major gripe), websites like Gamespot really shafted this title for reasons which I did not find valid whatsoever. In fact, they found it frustratingly difficult and I found it almost ridiculously easy. Maybe it's because I'm an experienced MNR gamer from the PS3 version. If you're new to ModNation Racers, you may have frustrations with it, so I don't know how easily I can "recommend it" for you.
The only other game I'd ask you to look at, for the time being, is Sound Shapes. That's just another kind of cool on its own, and can be played on your PS3 as well. I just want to get through it slowly before I beat it too quickly.
I think, for you, my strongest recommendation will be HSG, but I wouldn't overlook MNR.
EDIT: Didn't realize you can get three out of the four. I guess it's just your choice, but I would pass on LEGO Batman if you have a reason to wait for a better attempt by one of the developers of those games. What they did was simply lazy and inexcusable.Last edited by Blzer; 08-17-2012, 09:02 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Lumines is good. You might consider waiting 10 days for Madden. The demo is good.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
That Madden demo hasn't really impressed me. It's choppy at times, and sometimes when the crowd gets loud the audio comes out distorted (though it might just be my system, who knows).
That said, it's a day 1 purchase and a game I will be playing non-stop. I'll alternate between my Superstar HB and Chicago Bears Franchise where I'm sure I'll get many seasons deep in both. I'm just SO excited to have a football game on the go. The Vita was built for this.
I'm super sad that 2K is not on board as it is my favorite sports game ever (basketball is also far and away my favorite sport), but I am super-psyched for Madden.
My Vita rotation will be:
1. Madden 13 (Franchise and Superstar Mode)
2. Hot Shots Golf (accidentally selected "new game" and it saved over my old one, so I'm re-beating courses and unlocking stuff)
3. Metal Gear Solid Collection (I just bought this today. I know I've played some Metal Gear games and always enjoyed them. I don't remember which ones I've played, but if I've played these I figure enough time has passed that it'll be new again).
4. Lumines (Since beating the main mode and unlocking all the skins on my second attempt I play it a lot less, but it's still a good pop and play game).
5. FIFA 12 (This game will fall down my rotation due to Madden. Plus it's gotten easy)
6. Uncharted (It's been sitting here because I wanted to play the other Uncharted's first, but the first one is boring to me and I can't get through it).
I also downloaded some quick mini games:
1. Peggle (the greatest game ever. I own it on every system I can download it to, lol. It's so much better than Angry Birds. I have two challenges left before I beat it... again. Beat it on my I-Pod years ago).
2. Tetris (When I don't feel like popping in Lumines).
3. Monopoly (My favorite board game ever. I like that it's simple, streamlined and has pass and play).Comment

How is pure chess, for those who have it? Esp from a single player standpoint?

I'm hopig that audio glitch with Madden is just a demo thing. FIFA's demo also had slowdown issues but the retail plays smooth.
Uncharted ... boring? Blasphemy! Well, not everyone has to like a game. Not sure you'd like the Vita game if you found the PS3 one not your cup of tea.
Look into Gravity Rush ... great game.Currently Playing:

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
It's just the first uncharted that I'm not feeling though I've heard its the worst one and it's all uphill after that.
I'm wondering how people did their wallpaper/unlock screens. I am a HUGE Daredevil fan and went with Bullseye as my unlock and various DD wallpapers.Last edited by Streets; 08-18-2012, 12:27 AM.Comment

I'm still using the last set I posted, I think I may have since tweaked the app screens though.Comment
