    Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

Rockstar has supported mobile gaming in the past so I'm not too worried about GTA.

They had a couple really good games for PSP, plus the Warriors game which I never played, and they even had a good game for the DS for chrissakes. I bet they do a dedicated game to the system after GTA V and I wouldn't expect them to try to port that massive beast into the Vita.

Got me through the engagement and wedding period that just passed two weeks ago.

So now I figure I have about 4 - 7 months where I can get back on the sticks and get the big TV and some PS3 in while she is a good wife and cooks, and shops for christmas ****.. But I do know that will come to an end so I'll then go back to the Vita.

Yup. Just used it last night, in fact.

Play till your battery is near dead, then play with this thing in it so it charges while you're playing, and get a full 'nother charge till your battery drains again. If you can get a full charge out of this (haven't tested it), you essentially get 3x the playing time you would originally get.

Haha, yeah I do. Same for Gravity Rush. Those two games alone justify the cost of a year of Plus, much like some combination of the first PS3 IGC games did.

Ah, for some reason I felt like you mentioned Gravity Rush. I'm only slightly looking forward to that. Not really into those kinds of games, but on Vita almost anything can be fun if it occupies unwanted passing time.

I'm also really digging the fact that we'll get an e-mail app, and the browser will be even further improved. I don't think this firmware update will allow for you to use the browser with the Vita tilted vertically, but I hope it's in their future plans.

2.0 must be coming out tomorrow, which is what I initially expected until Jason said something.

                          Anyone hear otherwise?

Yeah. Reports on the PS Blog comments (yes, from staff) say around 9 PM Pacific tonight.

I think the full $50. It wasn't at Best Buy at the time (doesn't mean it is now, I'm not sure), so I got it at Fry's.
