If it means anything, Sony announced there is going to be a Show '14 for the Vita, so it's not like PS4 remote play will be the only way to play it. It's a good start, at least - we'll see how many other companies will still develop for it with that option out there.

Yeah, I was really worried about whether Sony would put out a Vita edition of The Show this year. After no Madden 25, No AC IV, no GTA V, absence of The Show 14 would have been a nail in the coffin. As Mestevo said, remote play is not necessarily a good thing if we want to see new Vita games.

It sounds like Remote Play won't be amazing over the internet yet. Rumors, and based on Sony's FAQ, so we'll have to see how it'd be playing your PS4 at someone else's house on Vita.

I think there'll be a reason to have a portable game that doesn't require internet for a while....No one can stream over 4g because the cost would be insane IMO.

I still want to know where my KZ: Mercenary crew is here on OS. Ever since the patch, I haven't been dropped once. Best looking Vita game by far, and very console-like in online performance now. Great game and experience.

I was looking for a game that was similar to Geometry Wars in XBL and i finally found it. Super Stardust Delta. I think I like even better than Geometry wars and its been the game I been playing the most.

There's no reason it won't. Only games that feature or require other peripherals (move/camera) won't be available, we should have every expectation that all other PS4 games will be available for remote play based on what Sony's said.

Then again, if companies can just opt out because their game is too busy, or has an inventory system or something, I could see the Vita being discontinued inside of 2 years or so between this and lack of third party support.

That's really too bad and not a good sign. I believe I read somewhere that Sony was requiring developers to add Vita remote play to their games unless it was a camera type game. Not sure what happened to that. If one developer can opt out then one could assume any of them can.

Publisher and Developer Relations man Adam Boyes has confirmed NBA 2K14 will support remote play on the PlayStation 4.

I have 4 games in my possession, and all 4 mention Remote Play on the back of the box (FIFA, Madden, AC, and KZ)

I have COD and Knack. COD shows remote play on the back but Knack does not. I know Knack has it though as it is a Sony game and I've seen videos of it.
