IMO yes, the screen material isn't as scratch resistant as it needs to be, I have a Hori screen protector on the front and none on the back and I do have scratches on the back. The scratches on the back don't bother me, but they would if on the front.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I had the same screen protector for the first 20 months of owning this thing, but I just bought this one. It's much better than the previous one and very durable, but I'd recommend that you get somebody from Geek Squad to apply it for you or something. I could have messed up applying this so easily.
Anyway, some say otherwise, but screen protectors are an absolute must.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Unless they have improved them, I hate the Zagg style protectors with a passion due to the orange peel effect. It also looks like a square protector and not edge to edge, that would drive me crazy.
The Hori was simple to install, is hard not rubbery or grippy, and it's crystal clear. I barely tell it's on there, and the only time I can is if I specifically look for it on the other side of the buttons. Plus they are cheap (like $6 shipped from amazon).Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Size-wise, it looks exactly like my other one (forget what brand it was but it came out on Vita launch and in a pack of two), so take that for what it's worth.
I love it, though. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
So I put my Vita up on eBay last night. Woke up this morning and had a notification on my phone that my Vita sold. I got excited and checked my eBay account before I headed out to work. Noticed the guy hadn't paid and check his feedback. 100% scammer so I relisted it. The guy purchases the thing again and leaves me this message:

This guy tried to scam me not once but TWICE! Funny thing is, his message explaining his "problem" doesn't make sense. I'm not selling a PS3 game.... Thought I'd share.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I tried to sell one item on eBay, and never got paid for it despite the fact that eBay said I did. I don't blame them or the buyer, because I was activating my PayPal account at the same time. I think that something got caught in the crossfire when he actually did pay but to a ghost account, and I just took it as I would get the money after it was fully activated, but I never did. Alas, I shipped out the item and received no money for it. I tried to contact him and he never got back to me.
As much as I already hate doing online stuff and didn't want to do this because I "just ain't no good at it," this didn't help my cause here. Never went on eBay again. Sucks that a sour experience dampened my future with the website, but it's just one of those things I guess.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Funny, I am exactly the opposite. I am now playing my Vita way more than my 360. In fact, with NG having one professional football game, no college football game, one hockey game (not at this point though) and one baseball game (same), I am feeling less desire than ever to jump into the NG. If the Vita had a hockey game and a college football game, I think I might skip NG altogether. Eventually, I'll get a PS4, so I can have remote play, but for now, the Vita is completely filling my gaming needs. Just a tremendous system!Just put my Vita and all it's games and accessories up on eBay.
Haven't touched my Vita in a long time until today. Fired it up to try out Remote play but just couldn't get into it. Controls where too awkward and trying to play some of these console based games on such a small screen was a tad bit difficult, especially quick moving games like CoD Ghosts and FIFA 14.
Might hop over to the 3DS as I've been dying to play the new Pokemon game and relive my childhood memories on LoZ: Ocarina of Time.Comment

Don't give up on eBay - I have sold a number of videogaming things there, including my original Xbox and my daughter's Wii. Never an issue, and the best solution to the problem. Craig's List, for me, was nothing but problems. Everybody just wanted to barter things, nobody would actually pay money. I understand that his question didn't make sense, but otherwise, can you elaborate why you thought he was going to scam you? From his account feedback?
I just want to try and avoid a situation like this myself once I post it.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
That's my rule of thumb, too. I remember when I was selling my old PS2 and games on Craigslist I had a guy that was offering me more than what I had listed everything at, and was going to pay for shipping. Yet, he wanted me to ship the console and games to him first before sending me any money.
I did get a good laugh out of the email exchange. Eventually I met a mom at a Starbucks who purchased the PS2 for her sons. Funny enough, that same Starbucks is where I sold my DS Lite, which was also listed on Craigslist.Currently Playing:

The guy didn't attempt to pay through PayPal and in his message said he was having problems paying through PayPal. On my end it said he paid but it wasn't sent via PayPal it just said 'payment sent DEC 4th 2013."Guess I need to go the Ebay route too. Craigslist is going nowhere.

His feedback was horrible, everyone was saying he was trying to get people to ship the items before he paid, etc. And even if he was a serious buyer it should not take you more than a day to pay through paypal. Just going off those alone is enough for me to think he's a scammer.
