Great deal, Paperboy! Glad you're enjoying them and they are working well for you. Any bluetooth issues? Any static/crackling? And these run on normal batteries, right, or do they charge on a station?

Very minimum crackles or pops only when the game stutters because too many explosions at once lol or when someone with a mic joins a game but after that it is so clear. You hear flies and every time you go from grass to dirt to puddle...I was literally running around wuth my jaw dropped*my K/D dropped a little I was so distracted lol*

It charges through a usb port so you can charge from your ps3/cpu or an external usb charging station(Highly recommended to stay with Ps3/Cpu because some alternative chargers could destroy your battery cell.

The range is great i walked all around my house while my game was paused and my teammates were asking for help(i was a medic), I was laughing so hard and told em' I was busy.

I having so much fun with these. Great buy IMO.

Oh and for bluetooth, it connects instantly and easily. All you do is connect it to the ps3 turn on the headset and your done. For cpu might a little different.

EDIT: One more thing lol, it has this way of hearing only mics, game sound or both so for Bf3 which has no mute for PS3 *Smh* you can just switch to game sound only and be fully immersed. When you're on "both" all it does is slightly lower the game sound volume.

I got those for Xmas & they are pretty sweet. Best headphones I've owned & yes, Battlefield 3 sounds awesome in these! The ambiance noise is creepy real.

Okay read all the post here and too many reviews and still can't decide. I am looking for a gaming headset that works with the 360 and the PC. Mainly, I will be using them for some gaming (360 & PC) and music (PC). Looking for some opinions, little things that either irk you or the things that make them awesome for you.

I have narrowed it down to these:
              Tritton AX 720 (7.1) - 129.99
              TB Ear Force DPX21 - 129.99
              TB Ear Force X41 (wireless) - 139.99

              Astro A40 - 269.99

Hey folks I just picked up the new Turtle Beach Ear Force X32 for my Xbox 360. If you have a budget of 100 bucks, you won't be disappointed. They are stereo, but have a "tone" and "effect" button to adjust base, treble, and equalizer (normal, narrow, wide).

It also functions on 5 GHZ dual band and doesn't interfere with my router right next to it.

For me it is a nice upgrade from the Turtle Beach X11.

I was planning to buy the Sony wireless headset but I've read online that after the 4.00 update there has been some issues with it. Do you think those problems will be fixed soon or should I look for another headset?

If you have the money, get the astros.

                      If not, get the 720's.

                      Really great quality in both

My Tritton A720's were destroyed in an alcohol related incident recently so I had to go back shopping for a gaming headset. Decided to go with the TB XP400. A little pricey, but after a day or two with them, I am very, very happy with my purchase. Also love that I can use it with both my 360 and PS3

Just picked up the same set a few days ago... I found a 50$ bestbuy gift card recently and it has been burning a hole in my pocket.

I've really never used a proper headset for a console, and I don't know if I will be able to go back. For the price point, the sound quality is amazing (I know this isn't news to anyone who has been using a quality headset..).

I'm no audiophile, but I'm definitely a new convert to headset gaming. Not sure if this headset stacks up to some of the other sets you guys have mentioned here, but at the very least, these are a good entry point for someone who has never used a headset.

Now, if only I could find a way to strut around the house with these on, and not have my girlfriend constantly make fun of me.
                            Now, more than ever

I picked up the Sony Wireless as well and it's fantastic. However, their new Pulse headset releases this week, and I'll be swapping out for that.

I'd like to see some impressions once you pick these up. Currently trying to decide between getting a nice headset or a soundbar/surround sound setup.
