Re: Wii U Discussion
Just picked up the Zelda Wii U bundle (Wanted to get the Mario Luigi Wii U delux bundle but they were not available online or in the store.) Picked up the Zelda Wii U bundle instead and Super Mario 3D world. Figured I spent enough on myself this year with the PS4 and all the games that I needed to get something for my younger son and the entire family. Tried out Super Mario 3D world at Gamestop and that game is pure fun IMO. Looking forward to trying out the Wii U at XmasPS: You guys are great.

Wii Sports Resort Golf has more depth than most people realize. I can't wait to get the Wii Sports Club version.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
If EA Sports releases a golf game for the Wii U, I'd buy one the day of the announcement. lol. I keep holding out hope Tiger will sign with Nintendo to do a golf game exclusively, but that's just far-fetched to say the least. Haha

Re: Wii U Discussion
Can't take it anymore...picking one up tomorrow.
Different plan of attack though...gonna go with the NSMBU/SLU bundle and pick up 3D World, Wind Waker, and Monster Hunter 3.
Also saw that Nintendo's site is selling refurb WiiMotion Plus remotes with the nunchuck for $20...that's a steal.
The Wii U looks to be THE perfect compliment to my PS4...all my gaming boxes ticked.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Also thinking of picking up a Wii U as a compliment to my PS4. Initially I was going to go with the Xbox One, but they're too similar in the type of games and it's a lot of money to own both! Out of pocket, it'll cost me around $150 for the bundle as I'll use my fantasy football winnings.
I'm really yearning for the light hearted games, different style games, and I've always loved the Nintendo exclusives. For those of you who own one, what are the must play games?PSN: sportdan30

Re: Wii U Discussion
Anyone have any suggestions on an external HDD for the Wii U. Figure I wanted to try to go digital with the games for the Wii U since my son has a tendency to scratch and misplace his games.
Open to suggestions. Thanks!PSN: ckarlic

Re: Wii U Discussion
Loving the new Mario. I probably wouldn't put it in my top handful of console Mario games, but it's very close.
With every new Nintendo console I always find myself wondering if I have finally outgrown the Mario franchise. The answer is always no, and I'm constantly surprised and refreshed at the overall game/level design they are able to mix with a perfect balance of accessibility. And by accessibility I don't mean that the game is unessasarily easy. For one, it is definitely not that, but there is a certain amount of general gaming intuition at its core that I think may get overlooked or taken for granted.
As much as I immerse myself in the newest sports games and action/adventure shooters for my ps3, there is still something about games like Mario that still feel like the very definition of gaming to me. Which is why I suppose I bought the Wii U, and I'm glad its starting to pay off.
BTW, did anyone try the new Sonic game that came out a few months ago? I was looking forward to it, but the reviews all look pretty bad. Which I guess should be expected, given Sonic's track record as of late. Now, more than everComment

Re: Wii U Discussion
From what I've read from people who actually played Lost World and got past the learning curve, they enjoyed it quite a bit. The reviews seem to be a bit unfair for sure. A patch was released last week as well, and that should improve things as well. I think the demo is available if you want to give it a try.

Re: Wii U Discussion
I was bored of KZ: SF and they were giving $42 for it at Gamestop, so I managed to picked up Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Twilight Princess for $40 with their B2G1 free. I'm set for awhile with those and 3D World, W101, Zelda WW, and Pikman 3.
The Xenoblade case, disc, and booklet are brand-new and the Nintendo Club points haven't been used. I've seen an alarming amount of other people mention this too, and that's really shady. If they really are selling new copies of Xenoblade as pre-owned, Nintendo should take legal action.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Yeah read online and some YT vids that Xenoblade was re-released a while back and sold new for suggested retail of 19.99 I believe.
EB/GS opened all copies so they could sell as used and set their own price.
How did you get it so cheap when it's listed as 69.99 used?? Or was it the 40 + the trade in amount of 42.00
Anyways I refuse to buy it from them due to that shady practice.Joshua:
