Re: Wii U Discussion
Even though I'm still on the fence of whether or not I'm going to keep the Wii U, Nintendoland is such a deeper pack in game that Wii Sports ever was. There's several games that are really fun to play, not to mention addictive.
The web browser is pretty nice and responsive. When the kids are on the iPad and computer, I have had no problem using the gamepad for checking out ESPN, OS, etc. It's definitely more of a chore on the PS3.
What's holding me back right now is that there is only one game I am interested in, and that's SMBU. ZombieU is a good game, but it's not my genere. It does make excellent use of the gamepad though. However, I know that the Lego game and Rayman game will be entertaining when they finally release.
Truth be told, I rented Hitman last night for the 360. Very good game, but it's strange. While I enjoyed the hour or so I played, I don't have that yearning to go back back and play it. The Marios, Donkey Kongs, Wario Wares, etc have more appeal for some reason. I still excited about the big releases (Halo 4, COD, etc) but rarely play them more than a day. So, maybe the Wii U is right for me.........PSN: sportdan30

"On a general level, Treyarch's work with the single-player campaign is ambitious - certainly in terms of concept, but definitely with regards to technology: exceptional dynamic lighting, some beautiful effects work, enclosed interior and sprawling exterior locations along with superb character rendering are just some of the highlights. For a game to look this good and to run at a perceptual 60FPS on console is a substantial achievement - but the fact that the Wii U falls so short of the expected standard during gameplay is a real disappointment."Comment
