Re: Wii U Discussion
I keep flip flopping. Looking at the future releases still doen't look good. I'm sure eventually there will be plenty of game but I am in the here and now. So yeah I should have waited to buy one.
All I know is I can sell mine and be paid in full on my PS4.
That's tough to not at least think about.Joshua:

Then when Nintendo gets their games put down the road, you can pick it up with the price cuts that will come due to the next gen machines launching.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Wii U Discussion
I would definitely do that. Since you know there will be no shortages of games on the other two consoles even right off the bat.

Will suck seeing Pikmen 3 out there though.
Shouldn't be this hard lolJoshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
There's a tiny part of me that would enjoy the Wii U, but I realized I don't have the time for all these consoles, so I just play stuff on my 3DS for a Nintendo fix.
Maybe when it's 150 or something cheap I'll get one, but as of now it's just not worth it for me time wise.
The Wii was a waste for me aside from a few Nintendo games. Trying to learn from that.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
After a nice drink and a discussion with a friend I've stopped the madness.
I am not entering the vicious cycle of buy/sell/buy
I am keeping the system and it will be what I knew it was going to be all along.. A Nintendo game system
I just really want the PS4 to get here as I'm ready for some new stuff...
Pikmen 3 and NCAA will help the wait.
So PS4/WiiU and maybe a X1 sometime.Last edited by Skyboxer; 06-28-2013, 07:18 PM.Joshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
I can relate to your apparent indecission Sky ... I would also give strong consideration to give it in as part of the payment for a next gen console, but mostly due to me not having a job and reducing the financial burden of adcquiring the next gen consoles with my savings. Also, I have a history of giving in old systems for new ones.
Then again, leaving aside their specs, all Nintendo consoles offer the distinct experiences that come in the form of their 1st party games and exclusives. Be it by nostalgia or by whatever it may be, I have always like such games ... they provide a type of sentiment/fun I have yet to get from the games offered on other systems.
A true hardcore gamer would say the same for all 3 systems and had I had the money, I would certainly buy and keep all 3.
P.S:
What is funny tho, is that I dont own a WiiU ... but plan to, once my situation improves, I am getting the PS4 first tho ... who knows, I might be one of those true hardcore gamers as I hope to eventually buy and keep all 3.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
You generally own a Wii U or any Nintendo product for the exclusives. There haven't been any this year other than Lego Undercover which is not a system seller. Pikmin and the Wonderful 101 will be out soon but the big games start coming out late in the year. In the last two months Mario 3D and Donkey Kong will be out. Next spring Mario Kart comes out. Somewhere along the way Yoshi's Land Wii U and two Zelda games (one a remake) will be out.
I think the system is a great system for what it is. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it right now unless you want Super Mario and the Lego game. Nintendo Land is the best game on the system right now but you need 3-5 people to really enjoy it at its best. Wait until the fall or close to Christmas when the exclusives start rolling out and a price cut happens. I can understand why Nintendo didn't announce a price cut at E3. It doesn't work without combining it with a good set of games. There is no doubt the price will be cut before the PS4/Xbone come out. Probably $100 off the price.Comment
