That's my thinking. With no NCAA game on the horizon, I don't NEED to jump into the next-gen until Mass Effect 4. Wii U is hitting its game stride so I can live off of that for a few years.

This game looks better and better every time they release more media! I'm very excited to get a Wii U along with this game in the next couple months!

The Mario does look good. I'm guessing there will be a bundle with that eventually?

That's what I'm hoping for! I'll be getting a Wii U in the next couple months, and if they do a bundle with this game, I'll jump on it. It will sell like hotcakes too which will only help Nintendo's holiday sales.

I'm looking more forward to games like Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Mario Kart 8, but this one looks great!

Does anyone else use the GamePad as a tv remote via Nintendo TVii? I LOVE using it as my remote control.

I wish 3D World was getting a bundle.

New Wii U Deluxe Bundle Includes New Super Mario U, Luigi U

Nintendo has announced a new Wii U Deluxe Bundle for North America that includes New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U. The bundle will hit stores on November 1st for $299.99 and includes both games on one disc, echoing a similar bundle announced in Europe earlier this month.

The bundle is intended to replace the original Wii U Deluxe Bundle, which included a copy of Nintendo Land, and will still contain a black Wii U with 32GB of storage. Nintendo Land will be available as a separate purchase for $29.99, either in retail stores or on the eShop.

So is there no hope for future sports titles on the Wii U? I've been contemplating getting this system as I really have no desire to get a PS4/Xbox One for a couple of years. I know when you buy Nintendo you're not buying for sports titles, but it'd be nice to see something sports-related released. I thought Madden 13 and NBA 2K13 introduced some nice Wii U-specific options.

As of now, no, but all it'll take is for more people to buy the system and that may change.

I ordered the new WiiU bundle for my kids for Christmas. Got 2 WiiMotes (the Mario/Luigi ones), a Pro controller, nunchuck, and Mario 3D Land for them. Out the door, paid about exactly the same what the XB1 was going to run me, so I'm a happy camper. They will even be more excited on Xmas morning.

Now here's to hoping this lights a fire under the system and it hits high gear. Mario 3D Land, then Donkey Kong, Mario Kart and Super Smash all next year will definitely get this thing rolling I think.

They will love it but make sure you get NintendoLand. That is the best game on the system and you will play hours on it. The best games are for 3-4 people but it's honestly a great, great game. Mario Chase, Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing Candy game are addictive. You should be able to find the game for cheap too. It's not a throw in. It's GOTY material IMO.

I downloaded Wii Fit U. Some of the new stuff is good but overall, it's a tad disappointing. I'll buy the fit meter so I can keep the game for free but it's essentially Wii Fit Plus Plus.

Also got my Wii Fit Meter yesterday, just to keep the game for $20. Seems worth it to me.

I'm starting to get a backlog of games on the system, and playing/using it almost every day. For our family, it's a GREAT console.

I really hope it has a strong holiday season. Not insane selling, but some consistent positive momentum.

I was looking at Amazon.com today to see if they had the new Mario Wii U bundle and I came to find out that Amazon doesn't sell Nintendo consoles anymore. Apparently there is some beef between the two companies going back to the original 3DS. There are some 3rd party sellers selling the console at higher rates, but they don't qualify for Prime either so there's no way I'd buy that way. Anyway, I found that interesting. I would think Amazon.com would be one of Nintendo's top retailers.
