The GameCube controllers and the adapter are not available in stores yet, but that's all Nintendo allowed people to use at E3.

The adapter will cost $20 and the controllers will cost $30, once they are released.

Got my WiiU fully set up now that it came in. Had a blast with MK8.

First MK game I've owned since the SNES one (hated the 64 version... and also the 64.) I'm terrible, but it looks good and is fun.

Mine is set for delivery for Monday. The only thing that stinks is that I'll be waiting on the "wheel" controller attachments. Ordered from Amazon, Luigi ships on the 30th and Mario was backordered, so hopefully it'll ship soon too. Got a $60 Amazon credit for opening an amazon credit account, so paid $20 for Mario Kart 8 and 2 wheels. Not bad.

I really want to get one and I'm weak so that means I'm probably going to get one soon. Nobody has the mariokart bundle in stock. Hell, every best buy in the area is completely out of all of the bundles.

All of my local walmarts have them in stock. Just use the "Find stores near me with in stock" option. I almost picked one of those up in person, wish I would have, but I ended up saving some money by scouring eBay.

On a side note, my Princess Wii U remote and Mario remote came in, as well as MK8. Now I have to wait on the blasted wheels to come in, as they were backordered. Luckily, the Wii U will be here Monday.

Yeah all the Best Buy's here are out as well. Used our reward zone stuff (MK8 bundle + 2 pro controllers for 300 ftw.)

Had to order online, we have Elite Plus so expedited shipping was free. Bought it... Tuesday night, Controllers got here Thrusday and the system bundle got here yesterday - no issues with any of them.

Probably could have gotten them from the other stores (I'd be hard pressed thinking GameStop, Target, Wal-Mart AND Best Buy were out of all of them) but we stick with Best Buy now with the GamersClub Unlocked thing. No real reason to go elsewhere for us, outside of impatience.

You'll have fun with MK8 WTF - though I can't speak to the wheel. I have no intentions of using it.

Are you using the gamepad ubernoob? Or the Wii Motes?

I figured that the wheels would help the kids play a little better. I want one of the Pro controllers, so I'll feel at home like an xbox setup.

I've only used the GamePad.

Mel has used both the GamePad and the Pro Controller (while the gamepad was charging.) Both have worked just fine for it. I've never been a fan of the WiiMotes, it's actually why our Wii went unused. She won one at a work function one time, but I just... don't enjoy using them at all.

I wish the Pro Controllers felt... a bit sturdier, though. They feel real light in the hands compared to a 360/PS4 controller so it's a bit of a change but they seem to work real well.

I have an easier time with MK8 using the Wii Remote Plus w/ nunchuck. I do plan on getting a Pro Controller also at some point.

Pro controller is very good. It definitely doesn't feel as sturdy as the one controller but it is definitely worth the price.
