Started up Golden Sun. It looks good on the Gamepad. The GBA games come with full color manuals and you can apply smoothing by just clicking down the right stick. I don't like filters though. I want to see all those pixels.

        Re: Wii U Discussion

Have played Mario Kart almost every night since release with the missus and am 3 mirror cups away from 3 sstaringall of GP. Tried online mp for the first time last night and it was awesome. Really hectic races and I even managed to win 3 in a row and hit 1200 points. Some OS races would be incredible.

I saw Tournament as an option but didn't try it. Anyone know how it works in terms of numbers/single elimination?

You'd do better to do the refurb off Nintendo's site, a refurb wii remote with nunchuck, and the game separately. You could get the Pro Controller too and you'd spend the same amount as getting the bundle.

                  Re: Wii U Discussion

Just traded in some stuff and grabbed a Wii U along with Mario 3D World, Mario Bros U, Windwaker HD, Mario Kart 8 and Lego City Undercover. Have yet to play anything but Windwaker and LEGO City (gf is making me wait so we can try the Mario games together) but I gotta say, Lego City is some of the most fun I've had gaming in a little while.

Obviously, Windwaker is like no other Zelda game and it's beautiful but I kept going back to Lego City when I went to play the U. Even the humour, which in most games is cringe-worthy, at times had me bursting out in laughter.

Really looking forward to trying the Mario games today but so far, beyond happy with my purchase.

Gonna go exploring the VC a bit tonight too.

                      Yeah, that would be awesome.

Honestly, I have a hard time enjoying single player at this point. The online play is so much fun... This is probably the game I play the most online now. The girlfriend and I play just about every night.

Can't lie. I geeked out when I saw Lucina and Robin. Fire Emblem: Awakening is still my favorite 3DS game and was almost my personal GotY last year (2nd to Tomb Raider).

And Captain Toad was my 2nd favorite thing about 3D World (1st being that my wife and played through and beat it together). I'm very interested in that game.

Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden Revealed For Wii U

The concept of the game comes from a “Japanese-style” horror, which will revolve around Japanese buildings, using cameras, and the fear of “getting wet”.

It takes place in a big mountain that has a big lake and graves. According to Kikuchi, it seems like we’ll be seeing a lot of damp areas, and quite the scary figures, like traditional Japanese ghost girls who appears completely drenched in water.

The protagonist Yuri Kozukata has an ability she’s had since childhood, where she could touch something and find the “truth” behind its history.

The Wii U GamePad will have a camera feature that shows things that you normally can’t see with your eyes, and it will also be used as some sort of weapon that can be used while facing enemies.

Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden will be released on September 27, 2014 in Japan.
