This isn't the NES version we're talking about. We're talking about the Wii version.

Looks decent. I'll grab it with my club nintendo points.

Actually the reward version looks like it needs to be launched on the wii dashboard. Hate that. I'll just get the 10 dollar one.

Also got Punch Out. It is great! Can't wait for next weekend when Prime Trilogy comes out. I'm super pumped.

I love how the punch out I bought said it was wii u but it's launched by the wii dashboard anyways. Annoying having to use the motion controls to just get into a match. Why can't I just hit the a button through every menu? Oh well. Still a fun game.

Yeah, it's still a Wii game. It's just bypassing the Wii menu.

Thinking the MP:Trilogy promo next week will make me get the game just to dig into it sometime in the future. Serious game backlog right now.

Metroid Prime Trilogy for $10 is such a steal. I own a physical copy and played them last year.

Prime 1 has amazing atmosphere and a genuine sense of place and solitude. It's the best in the trilogy when it comes to adapting the 2D formula to 3D.

Prime 2 is the most complex and has some really ingenious level design and bosses, but having to constantly switch between worlds and the dark world being bland, I think drags it down some. Still good though.

Prime 3 is more modern and the one I had the most fun playing. It's worth $10 alone. 60fps with spot-on pointer controls, makes for one of the smoothest controlling shooters on consoles ever. The addition of pointer controls in the first two games feels great too, but you can feel the difference in the Prime 3 since it was designed for them from the ground up. Also, it's probably the best looking Wii game, and I loved seeing the actual cockpit and messing around with the controls in your spaceship as you decide what planet to visit next.

Attention to detail is something all three have, like the light from blasts causing the face of Samus to reflect on the inside of the visor and tons of lore embedded throughout the world. Awesome trilogy and I really hope Retro is working on another Metroid for Wii U. I like Tropical Freeze a lot, but if their doing another DKC, I will be sad.

I love DKTF maybe the best platformer ever and unpopular opiuni but I never cared form Metroid at all so I would love another DKC.

I'm a new Wii U owner and am interested in getting the Metroid Prime Trilogy. I have a Wimote from a family owned Wii and can anyone tell me if I can play the Trilogy with it? I don't have a nunchuck. Seems like I read where you need both controllers to play this game.

You need a nunchuck to move.

I'm definitely picking up the Metroid Prime: Trilogy next week also. I've only played the first one on Gamcube, and I remember loving it, so I'll be looking forward to seeing how well it holds up.

$10 is definitely a steal, especially considering what prices for a physical copy were going for since they were in limited quantity. I remember seeing resellers on Amazon listing them over $100.

What are some good Mario World 3D type games that I can play with the kids? We've about ran that game into the ground.

Can be a Wii or Wii U game. Just as long as it's multiplayer and fun.
