Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning

I know this has been asked before but when do the 2 free Welcome Back games expire? I think it's July 2nd or something like that but I'm not sure.

I still haven't downloaded mine yet because I don't have a router, so it's going to be a pain in the *** to get them.

      Close!

UPDATE: Due to high traffic on PlayStation Store, you may encounter error messages or issues. We advise you try again a little later. Note: In order to download 2 games at no cost, you must redeem them from the "Welcome Back" category. If you can't find the 'Welcome Back Free Game 1 or 2’ products, [...]

Q: When will I have access to the Welcome Back Program?
A: The content offered as part of the Welcome Back Program is available for download today and will be available through July 3.

If you know someone else with a PS3 and internet connection you could download it on their system by signing in with your PSN and then when you get home on the 5th you'd just have to go to your download list and you should be able to download them to your system that way

What he means is that, like, I for instance could sign onto your account for you with my PS3, and download them for you.

If you'd like that, I can do it. You can trust me with not tampering with anything else on your account. I would simply activate them for you and delete the account.

Of course, I would need your password for this to happen. You would probably have to change it yourself if you want, I'm sure you can do that online with PlayStation's main site.

this is actually what I was referring too... as me and my cousin had a similar situation where he wanted a system update... and brought his system over to my house to get the update... downloading is definitely easier to do as you won't need your actual system with you... will just need to sign onto your friends PS3 with your PSN and select what you want to download and once the games are in the download list you are good to go for when you get home to download them onto your PS3

Sage advice from IGN. Read an article on there saying that if you plan on getting a Vita you should download the free PSP games, even if you don't have a PSP, and just store them until the Vita comes out. You'll have 2 free games right from the jump.

It's not guaranteed they'll work on your Vita, but it's pretty damn likely.

Anyone have problems redeeming a PSN card? The code is correct and it even tells me what the value is. Only thing is when I click yes to add it to my wallet, it takes forever and then gives me the 80023103 error. Been trying for about 30 minutes now
