The Store update seems to be taking a bit longer today. They're still doing one even with Gamescom going on, right?

Edit: It's updating, but they don't have the list posted yet. Main draws look to be MOH: Frontline and Breath of Fire IV in what appears to be a pretty small update.

Just FYI, I think BoF IV is a great old-school JRPG and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes that genre and hasn't played it. It can't carry this update all by itself, though (and I agree on the MOH thing).

It is a glorious theme though. Nothing like booting up your PS3 and having Brooklyn Decker in fantabulous HD staring back at you.

You need to visit the site through your PS3's browser, though. They download and install right to the PS3 from that site.

I was told by a regional vice president for EB Games that their company threatened all these big publishers who are offering online services (digital downloads), "lack of wall space" etc if games were significantly cheaper at digital prices, compared to store versions. Yes EB has this kind of pull.

So take that for what it is worth, and as to why both MSFT and Sony price the same as the store, or barely less.
