No....it will expire if you ever let your Plus subscription run out (although you'll get it back again if you re-subscribe).

Just saw the list of free games... WOW! Got Infamous from the PSN snafu last year and now will have Infamous 2 for free as well. Might have to start in with that series after I finish this crushing run on Uncharted 3.

I love PlayStation Plus.

BTW, The Virtua Fighter game that's on this list appears to be Final Showdown, the brand new updated version of VF5 that is being released today on the PSN for $15.

If that's a concern, I would at least go ahead and choose the items you want from the store, without actually downloading them. When you do that you gain "ownership" so to speak (for as long as you keep your plus subscription), and they go to your download list. As long as they're on your download list, you should be able to download them even if the free period has expired.

I just tried this with the Sonic the Hedehog game I downloaded free from Plus which has long since expired, and it re-downloaded and installed fine. Can't say for sure it would work the same with larger games, but I'd say there's a pretty good chance that it does.

Edit: Hmm, I take it back...not that it doesn't work, but Sonic and those other SEGA games are still on the store for free after all, in the Last Chance section. So it's a bad example to use. Let me try it with the Simpsons Arcade game, I know that one's done, and I got it for free way back when as well.

Been meaning to re-up my PS+ subscription for a while and this update made me pull the trigger. Did it today to get Trine 2 before the PS store updates and I'll take advantage of at least half of the free ones for June. Sweet!

I can try with a full-size game I got when I first joined plus, Tomb Raider Underworld, but it'll take some time to fully download. Although the fact that it even let me start the download again is a good sign.

Just to confirm, you're saying all I have to do is click on a game, say download, then cancel the download, correct? I don't actually have to download the entire title to get it into my history?

So what do you guys think? Should I play Space Marines or Just Cause 2 first... hmmmm

I sold my inFamous 2 disc on ebay for $20 today and bought the Splinter Cell HD Trilogy from Amazon for $20.05. That worked out good
