Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
^ What he said.
I still have my unplayed trial, so I wouldn't mind playing for an hour. I wonder if it will let me just unlock it thereafter. However, if it doesn't and I have to redownload it, I hope it doesn't get rid of my "progress" I made in the hour I had played.
I'm cleaning up my 400GB HDD right now. It's amazing how much demos can take up, and I have like 100 of them!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
Same here, I downloaded everything (10 games, including Virtua 5) and they were done and installed, and my PS3 off when I woke up this morning. Didn't DL I2, LBP2 or Sideway NY since I had them already.Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
Ok, even the pre-warning didn't help. Had to do a full clean up on my PS3 and I after downloading I only have 12GB left. 250GB doesn't cut it. Looks like I'm due for another upgrade, 500GB or more should do it, as I'm starting to copy all my DVD's over to my PS3.
On the subject of the games though, pretty happy. Warhammer 40K, LBP2, Infamous 2, and Motorstorm Apocalypse.
Must say, PS Plus lived up to expectations when I subscribed two years ago. I have saved a lot of money, which is why my hard drive is so full...Comment

Yeah, I'm not sure where he got that one from. Still shows up as $60 in the store, unless he meant the full game trial (which is free to plus members, but only lasts an hour).Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
PlayStation Plus has changed! By now, you've probably seen what's going on with the US PlayStation Plus update in June and the 'Instant Game Collection' and I'm certain you're all excited to see what we've got in Store for you too. Well I've got a lot to go through with you so brace yourself and [...]

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
hmm the marketing guy in me just had a thought. I wonder with all of the free games(which are great BTW) if this will cause PS to lose money? With the size of the games I bet a lot of us will be very limited on HD space. I for one will not be purchasing any games you have to pay for anytime soon because I just don't have the room. I know a lot more people will sign up for PS plus but will they lose more in download sales than they will gain in PS + subscribers?

True. It will be interesting(to me anyway) to see the PS3 sales number the next few months. I just have a hard time believing that many folks are going to run out and upgrade.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Looks like I'm going to have to play a game...delete when done...then download the next one.
Just not enough room and not looking to fork out the cash for the HDD upgrade.Comment
