So, I bit the bullet and opted in to the new preview. I've moved everything over to my external in case there's any issues, since my internet isn't the fastest, I'd hate to have to re-install, and re-download everything.

I game only on my X1. No tv through it, I don't really play online. So, I'm hoping the majority of the bugs don't have any effect on me.

As long as I can still just turn it on, play, turn it off without major inconveniences, I'll be happy.

Maybe eventually I'll run my satellite box through the X1, I feel like it would just confuse the hell out of the wife though, and it's not worth that headache to me lol

Just wanted to comment on 2 things:

1) Many of the major black screen or gameplay bugs have been fixed. You *should* be safe.

2) If you choose to run TV through the Xbox, you can do 2 things to keep from confusing your wife: set the boot to TV setting (so it launches TV full screen with the console) and pick up the Media Remote. It's $25, lets you control volume, and is made to fit great in smaller hands (like women and children).

You can still use your cable providers remote too. It really could not be less confusing. Just boot to tv or teach your wife/family to say "Xbox watch tv".

Anyone else on the new preview having issues formatting a new external drive?

When I connect the drive, it brings up the prompt to format it for Games & Apps, but as soon as the screen to name the drive pops up, it instantly closes and I'm left with just a spinning circle.

I submitted a bug report, just wanted to see if anyone else had any issues and if there were any workarounds.

This NAT issue is killing me. After it being open for days I check today and is strict. I give up at this point. No use putting in time to fix it if it's just going to hop back and forth. Here's a picture of today's error. One I've never seen before

Good deal but does Dell.com charge sales tax and shipping? If they do, that could hurt the deal for me compared to walking to a Best Buy or even a GameStop that has the same or similar deal.

Expecting a lot of $300 Xbox One bundled deals for Black Thursday/Friday. Really hoping for a similar deal that replaces Fallout 4 with a physical copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider. That would be awesome and perfect for me.

The New preview is starting to get on my nerves. All my games and data is external. Might be time to dump this, stability is way more important than I thought.

Report your issues and opt out. Crazy how different it is from console to console. I'm sure there are reasons for that but i don't understand it.

Since I am in the preview program, I am guessing I will have to upgrade to the NXOE?

I would love to try it out, but I've been hesitant because I would hate to lose my saved data. My thinking was once it was released to everyone, the issues with saved data being messed up would be fixed. Does this still happen?

Also, if I do opt out, does that mean I am out of the preview program permanently?

There are issues, but the good thing is that they're constantly updating the console to fix some of these issues.
