Anyone else had their kinect die out?

Mine is wall mounted with the cable run through channeling to the Xbox. So, there is literally zero chance of the cord being yanked and ruined. Just literally stopped working one day.

You have new dashboard? If so. Disconnect cables and power cord. Then reconnect and restart and see if that works. Worked for me.

Hmmm. My issue is xbox live going on and off repeatedly??? Check mi wifi on other devices no issues. Anyone seen this in new UI?

My Kinect has been dead for a couple of weeks. Waiting on NXOE beta to wrap up before buying another/calling support if my wife can hold out that long.

I've done all the troubleshooting ive gotten my hands on and feedback it every build.

Mine too. It's been about 2 or 3 weeks. Microsoft wants me to pay $70 for an obviously faulty piece of hardware. It literally cannot be anything else with the way i have my mancave set up.

My kinect is not dead but it occasionally reboots itself for no reason. It started when I got the NXOE so I'm waiting to see. Interestingly it happens a lot more often when my external drive is plugged in.

Those with kinect issues do you use an external drive?

Yeah and it updates the firmware automatically too when you turn it on
