Maybe next year I'll end up getting one...they look amazing. A price drop to 100 would be perfect, I think a lot of people would bite then. 150 is just a bit expensive.

Re: Xbox One
Tell me more about what mappings you've done for NBA 2K16.
I have 2 of the controllers from being in the Beta at work, but I gotta admit that I took the paddles off because:
1) I kept accidentally hitting them
2) The custom mapping app wasn't available when I got the controllers
I should add the paddles back and get used to trying them out. Controller is so awesome though. Way it feels in your hands, the weight, and I love having the taller thumbstick on the left for more precision.
I was just shock how great it worked in Madden when running with the ball and hitting the stiff arm with that paddle. It was smooth and reacted quicker then button pressing.
I am just in love with the controller...Not only does it function well but when you hold it you know is a premium product...Comment

Re: Xbox One
People on CraigList asking for 200 to 300 for them
Ebay even worst.
I know I can sell it for $200 today if I wanted toComment

Re: Xbox One
If you dont take advantage of the controller functions and just use it as a standard controller it is not worth the money but for what it offers and the way it feels and acts the controller is worth every bit of the price which is shown by the no current stock anywhere.

I'm just happy my systems play discs now and it only cost me 44 bucks (though that's not counting the 2 controllers and 2 games I got as well, so I made out on the deal).
I'm impressed in what MS is doing...still feel what they want for repairs is crazy, but they're catering to the gamers big time and doing more than Sony IMO. Just look at the lack of games for PS4 this year, whereas MS is giving us stuff both this year and next year.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

I have co-workers who use the trackball mice instead of regular ones and drives them crazy using regular ones....I could imagine how going to a regular controller would be toughNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
Kinect dashboard navigation gestures dropped in latest update.

Love the voice stuff, but the gestures always felt clunky and took forever for me, never felt the need to give them more of a chance.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
Lack of games is subjective. PS4 gave you Bloodborne this year which im sure even NYGiants4Fanatic can say is an excellent game. DriveClub completely turned around the disaster it had at launch and even added "bikes" to the game. God of War III Re-mastered was a disappointment but so was Gears of War Ultimate Edition for one main reason - what was the point in releasing either when the other games in the franchise are missing? If you're going to remaster games in a franchise, it should be like Uncharted Collection or Halo MCC. Include everything or don't do it. Speaking of Uncharted Collection, it includes arguably a game that's better than the majority of games this year on both consoles and that's Uncharted 2. Until Dawn was a sleeper hit and a very good game. Looking forward to Until Dawn 2 two years or later from now. Even The Order: 1886 was a solid 8/10 for me even though I was more excited for the sequel and it being a trilogy but oh well.
Holidays are barren for Sony but let's be honest, aside from Halo 5, what's exactly there for Xbox One? ROTTR isn't a full exclusive so it doesn't count and sadly, it's probably going to get killed going head to head against Fallout 4. The main thing is that if Microsoft can't win two out of these last three months of 2015, then any hope they have of surpassing Sony in NA isn't going to happen because looking at 2016, it's stacked for Sony and barring any delays, it could very well be their greatest year yet in their history of PlayStation.
Back to now, you also have other games like Dragon Quest Heroes which is exclusive to PS3/PS4 which people tend to forget about because it's not a Sony game. There's also a few other RPG's and Strategy games that are only on PS4 (and possibly PS3) that people tend to forget about.
I have always said both consoles are good and there's games on both. You can't go wrong either way but for me, I prefer Sony's exclusives over Microsoft's. When I look at the list, it's basically just Ryse and Quantum Break. I have already played more exclusives on PS4 and that doesn't include Bloodborne yet.
Games are there for both consoles period. Only reason it appears that Microsoft has more exclusives (they don't) or a better lineup is because they focus on the Holiday season where as Sony spreads out their games throughout the year. Games are there for both consoles but they have different strategies.
Microsoft dominated last year's holiday season but have given the majority of all that progress back to Sony this year by not having a damn game until Gears and Rare Replay in August which is why they lost eight out of nine months.
Third party deals going mainly to Sony is the same as last gen when they went with Microsoft. Third parties are going to go with the bigger install base. That's the way it's always been. And speaking of third party games, Sony was smart delaying Uncharted 4 but not because of ROTTR but because of Fallout 4. Every gamer and their mother is going to be playing this damn game so from the standpoint, is was actually a smart decision, even smarter since the game needed more development time.
Exclusives are great and both consoles have good to great exclusives now and next year but third party games are more important. Just ask Nintendo who have better exclusives, franchises and IP's than both Sony and Microsoft but that's not really doing themany good, is it?
In the end, both consoles have games. Sony spreads out their games where as Microsoft stacks the holiday season. Even with the barren holiday season, you can argue that PS4's exclusives were better this year but people forget about the previous nine months and only concentrate on the final three months which I will never understand.
But whatever, I have both once again so I can't complain either way. My only complaint right now is trying to finish AC Syndicate so I can start ROTTR.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Both companies suck in regards to repairs and whatnot. That's pretty much a given. Microsoft has done more than Sony in regards to catering to gamers but at the same time, they've HAD to because of their screw up at E3 2013. People may think that two and a half years later, it's forgotten but it's not. At the GameStop expo a few months ago, executives told Phil Spencer that they still get a lot of consumers looking to avoid Xbox One because all they remember is E3 2013 and don't realize that they reversed their decisions.
