I wonder what the prices of these games will be like...either used in stores or digitally.

That's multi-disc, right?

From my understanding, they still haven't completely figured out how to get multi-disc games working. This is something Phil Spencer mentioned back at E3 as a problem for them.

No they don't. Sorry. I sold the Gears of War codes and two 14 day trial codes for Xbox Live Gold for a $20 Best Buy gift card on NeoGaf. And counting the points I'll receive for buying the Xbox One the other day, I cut down the purchase to $222 ($253 including tax). I'll be surprised if Best Buy has a better deal on Black Friday.

I'm betting he "sold" it to a friend for a $20 BB card. No store I can think of accepts codes as a trade in.

Pretty much. I went multiple months this spring/summer without ever buying a game, and even only bought maybe two or three games tops between August and now. Since the last week of October, through Christmas, there have been and are at least 7 or 8 games in about a 6 week period. I'm looking at close to $500 just on base games, not even counting the additional costs of any games I get Deluxe Editions on.

I've already had to push back buying at least 3 games and probably gonna end up pushing back at least 2 more in the coming weeks. Some of these like COD, Assassin's Creed and Rainbow Six: Siege, I'm just gonna have to wait until after New Years. Just way too much money to be dropping in such a short period outside of something like purchasing a console, especially with Christmas shopping right around the corner.

Man, with all the awesome Next Gen games I can't believe what a big deal the backwards compatibility is. To be fair though, it will be cool to have all my games on 1 system.

Yea I just love how you can cater to your specif game...Calling out picks in 2K easy with the back paddles.

Stiff arm fools in Madden easy with the back paddles

COD or Halo use the back paddles to melee

Trigger stops work great in shooters..

I feel that MS wants all gamers to eventually have this controller and you will see a drop in price early next year to about 99.99 and offers of trading in older controllers to get a discount on the Elite.

MS should really want all their gamers to use it as it is that excellent and to me a game changer.

They should do this, and I HOPE they do. It's a huge gaming asset to differentiate them from the PS4. The more they can get out there in gamers hands the better for MS.

Tell me more about what mappings you've done for NBA 2K16.

I have 2 of the controllers from being in the Beta at work, but I gotta admit that I took the paddles off because:
1) I kept accidentally hitting them
2) The custom mapping app wasn't available when I got the controllers

I should add the paddles back and get used to trying them out. Controller is so awesome though. Way it feels in your hands, the weight, and I love having the taller thumbstick on the left for more precision.
