You have to either do it on Xbox.com or a 360 itself....there are technical reasons it's not on the Xbox One store I think I read

Yeah, I figured we were already on the public release version. After daily updates every single night for days, all of a sudden nothing since the 8th, I figured we were all set for the public release and were good to go for us in the preview program.

I was originally skeptical about backwards compatibility, but now that my daughter is playing Sonic the Hedgehog in the living room instead of the basement it's pretty awesome. The 360 was probably my favorite console of all time. I'm pretty impressed.

Looking forward to filling up this harddrive without spending another penny on a game.....ever.

Umm yea you are lazy...You do not have to even have a box to trade in..Put all in a plastic garbage bag...Drive to gamestop...Put it on the counter..They turn it on and see that it works and reformat it...Done $250 credit

They grab the elite scan it and you pay $265 for the diff and taxes or more depending on state and drive back home..

Open Elite bundle...Be in total aweee of the Elite controller and how it was all worth it

Turn on console sign in download games and enjoy gaming on a much better version of the xb1

All in about an hours worth

Well that is cool man...good to see. I know Phil Spencer has talked about his favorite games on the PS4 so I guess that makes sense.

Speaking of Phil Spencer...

So a new Microsoft store just opened here in Columbus about a month ago. I went down there two weeks ago and a young girl came up to wait on me.

I asked her something and then she didn't seem to know, so I made a reference to Phil Spencer. She said who is that? And I joked "wow, you don't know who Phil Spencer is?"

So I explained to her who it was. I told her, I could be Phil Spencer and if you guys don't know who it is then you'd never even know!

She then pulled up a Google search on him and I said "there he is, lol, I'm not Phil Spencer".

Then I pointed out why I call him Vampire Phil because he looks just like the lead actor from True Blood (who is called Vampire Bill) and the MS employees were like "holy cow, he really does look just like him.."

Bottom line, now the people who work at that store will know who Phil Spencer is if he ever visits...HEH....

Skyboxer...I just bought one off of Amazon. Here's a list...I always pay about $15 more, or about $65, to get the accidental protection too but that's up to you. The regular protection is about $48.

Then you will get emailed a code with a receipt from Amazon. Take that information and you will then go to www.squaretrade.com to activate it. It'll ask you where/when you bought the system. You name what it is (Xbox One 11/15 or such) so you know what it is in case you have multiple systems.

Then when you're finished with that it'll tell you an email address to send a scanned receipt (or emailed receipt if you have one of those). Send that one over right then or later, but I always do it right then while you have it accessible and about 5 or 10 minutes later you'll get a "receipt approved!" and it'll show on your account.

Once you do that then you're done and the console is covered.

I'd go with whatever you would have to pay to replace it in say March of next year when it's NOT on sale. So if its $499 normally go with the $500.00.

Let me know if you have any other questions as I've done a bunch of business with Squaretrade.
