Re: Xbox One
I think all saves get packaged together when uploading - so you might have had 5 FO4 saves in a single package on the cloud. Then while offline added to your local save package with new saves. If the cloud save package overwrote your local save package, any new saves added to the package would be gone. But that would only be an issue if you did connect to live after the saves were made (when you were done with PS4.)
If you didn't sync or even go online, that would be impossible. If you did, I could swear it asks you if you want to keep your local saves or cloud saves (and might even tell you that the local saves are newer.)
However - if you don't have the new saves if online and offline...I think they are gone for good unfortunately...Comment

Re: Xbox One
I lost NHL 16 saves like this before. Our internet was down a while back for the day and I played like 3 games and made some roster moves then they were gone when I went back to Live. I couldn't figure out how to get my offline save to replce my online.
I wish Xbox would give us the option to backup our saves on our own local devices, external, flash drive, whatever. I hate hate hate trusting their cloud. I am like 30 hours into Fallout, if I lose that save file I have to assume I am going to run my One over with my truck in the driveway.
But the option to use the cloud and also to be able to back up to usb would def help my keep my xbox out from under my truck.Last edited by shogunofharlem3; 01-20-2016, 02:12 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Surprised I guess. I use to get caught up in the numbers but now not so much. When it's all said and done WE the gamer have 2 awesome choices when it comes to consoles. [emoji106]🏾

Re: Xbox One
How is this even news?
Japan is a terrible market for consoles. Look at their overall sales for ps4 compare to how ps4 sells in the U.S or U.K
And that is their own console.
Japan market is about cell phone games and handhelds.
But am sure Kotaku will let us know shortly if sales drop more....Comment

Re: Xbox One
Have to agree with NY. Japan is not what it used to be for console gaming. Sony and Nintendo are bad in Japan when it comes to consoles and yeah, Microsoft is beyond horrible but Microsoft has never done good in Japan and if anything, they shouldn't even release the next console their as it's simply just a waste of money.
It's all portables and mobile garbage. I do think that PS4 will get a small bump when FFXV and DQXI get released but even then, it's minimal. Console gaming in Japan died after PS2 and it's not coming back.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Japan is fine for consoles. XBox has never been big over there, nor should it be considering the types of games that come out for both systems.
I feel like I remember hearing way back when that the original XBox had a week of 0 sold.
Not surprising news in the least, nor does it really matter. Both consoles, at this point in their lives, have zero reasons to be upgraded to so the fact they have both sold as well as they have is good for both companies.
Also, saying "Japan is a terrible market for consoles" is pretty trashy. The ps2, for example, sold 41 million units in the US. It sold 21.5 million in Japan. About what you'd expect considering the populations of both.
The XBox has always been an American/European centered machine. Plain and simple.Last edited by ubernoob; 01-21-2016, 09:15 PM.badComment
