Does anyone know if there is a way to make where before you purchase a item you have to put in a password of some kind?

My son plays on our 360 while I just play on the X1. He mainly plays Garden Warfare but he sometimes accidentally purchases those points for buying packs on there or whatever they are called.... We use my account so he can play some of the free games each month and use my Xbox Live

I looked in the settings but didn't really see anything

Looks like you can create a passkey.

really dont know what they were thinking making their games availbale on windows... esp their console exclusives...

Forza is what drove me to get a xb1(pardon the pun)
Now? both horizon 3 and forza 7 next yr will be available for pc

other than that? their storied franchises are gears and halo...

I will say tho that quantum requires a good gaming rig to be playbale the way it is on xbox1

then again I think everyones in for a huge shock as the xb1 and ps4 are getting better hardware versions leaving our current consoles at even higher bottlenecks come soon...

Microsoft making their Xbox One games available on PC isn't going to hurt Xbox One sales for several reasons. First, majority of those games require very good specs which unless you're already gaming on a PC, you won't have. Second, the PC version is only available via digital download through their online store. Third, because Windows 10 is required and I for one have no interest in it (as well as many other people), no reason to buy the game for PC anyway. Add in the fact that the PC versions are always worse than consoles in regards to bugs, glitches, etc. and that you need to make sure you have the correct drivers, graphics card, etc. Seriously, it becomes a pain in the *** just thinking about it let alone doing it. Microsoft is a computer software company first and foremost and their main objective is to get as many consumers as possible to purchase Windows 10.

Xbox One will be fine as long as they don't do anything stupid like Sony. The exclusives going on PC isn't going to affect anything because unless you have the gaming PC to play those exclusives, you'll still buy the Xbox One version. And for those who already play on PC, they most likely don't have an Xbox One anyway and a few exclusives wasn't going to make them buy one either way.

As for upgraded consoles, all im going to say is that after watching a recent video on youtube from Digital Foundry, the PS4K is nothing more than a prototype and that the guy who talks in the video couldn't get anyone to verify that a devkit even exists let alone third party companies having them. Even if it happens, it looks to be late 2017 or early 2018 and by then, it would make more sense to just go with Xbox 4 and PS5. Must admit that unless Sony reveals something at E3, im more relaxed and calm after watching that video yesterday.

QB is the best selling Microsoft published new IP in the UK. Considering the other new IP's that Microsoft have published on Xbox One thus far (Ryse, Sunset, Screamride and ZooTycoon), it's not saying much and if anything, was expected.

It won't affect Xbox One sales much at all because people buy consoles versus PC gaming for very different reasons and it's very rarely exclusives.

I mean think about it, how many people with killer PC rigs bought an Xbox One just to play a couple of games? Probably about 1% of the Xbox One user base is my guess.

PC and consoles for gaming are still apples and oranges...no matter how much people like to compare them or how much Microsoft wants to merge them

Are there any known issues with Kinects randomly failing to work? I literally have moved the thing like 3 times ever since getting it 18 months ago.

A month or two ago it would randomly shut off. Now it doesn't turn on at all

one of mine did that a couple times in the past (last time was maybe a year ago)...unplugging it, doing an xbox hard reboot, then plugging back in got it to power back on. It did't seem to be an issue with the kinect itself, but with the xbox detecting it.

Yeah, i had to do this dance once and somehow got it working again....I forget the exact steps but it was like above. The Kinect wasn't broken.

With all these rumors of a new Xbox slim I'm interested in knowing what else MS has up their sleeves. I want to get another Xbox and ps4 for the bedroom, but I'll wait until the new consoles arrive later this year.

I just bought a second Xbox one. I'm hoping they give a decent trade incentive when these new ones come out. Especially if they include a performance boost. I couldn't care less otherwise.
