Re: Xbox One
Ok a question so I'll know before the time comes. When I do get a second XBOX and make it my "Home" XBOX..... Can my daughter still play online on her XBOX or will she need her own LIVE again?
I know right now with my account on the console she can.. just wondering what happens when I get a second one.Joshua:

If your xbox is home then she wouldn't get LIVE on hers without paying? I think that's how it works.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Xbox One
Someone else chime in as well, but I think you may want to leave her Xbox the home one and always sign in with yours....that'd allow her to get Live without paying, right?

Re: Xbox One
I kinda know the answer to this but what the hell, I'll ask this stupid question anyway...
Is it possible to use an internal SSD as an external SSD for Xbox One and then use it as an internal SSD for PS4 PRO?
Reason im asking is because if I can just buy one SSD and get to use it for both consoles, that would be great. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.Comment

You have to reformat it each time you switch systems.

Also for guys with both consoles, how do you decide which console to get the game for, if it's on both?
For multi-platform games, I always go with PlayStation 4 for several reasons.
- It's my primary console and I only play my Xbox One for it's exclusives. Basically, the opposite of last gen.
- I absolutely hate and despise the Xbox One's home screen with a passion. It's so ugly, slow and just blah. Why Microsoft didn't just copy Xbox 360 is beyond me. Also, don't like that I have to go through menus in order to find out if a game has a patch/update for it (like I did today with ReCore). Easily prefer the home screen of the PS4 and highlighting an installed game, I can easily press "options" and "check for update" which I love.
- Speaking of installing games, for whatever reason, installing a disc based game is ultra fast on PS4 but slow as a turtle on Xbox One.
- The ability to turn off the controller vibration via the PS4 settings is huge for me as that has to be the most annoying thing ever when playing a game, at least for me. The worse part is that this option existed on Xbox 360 but yet, is somehow missing on Xbox One.
- Resolution is usually higher on PS4 as is the FPS but another reason is that excluding PC, I end up reading about bugs and glitches more in games on Xbox One than I do on PS4.
All of this though is as a single player gamer. If you're an online player, then it's all about where your buddies are playing but at the same time, even I know that Xbox Live craps all over PSN. I know that some here are thinking, there he goes again bashing Xbox One but in fairness, I bash both consoles and companies when I think that they deserve to be bashed but I also praise them when I think that they deserve it.
Bottom line is that it's all about personal preference.Comment
