I actually did the race around the map tonight, it's a blast of a race. I only did 1 lap to see what it was about but will definitely be grinding it for XP and Credits.

In order for it to be worth it you'd have to have a XP or Credits boost HE car, I'd go with the XP.

I bought the HE Jaguar F-Type tonight, converted it to AWD, tuned it a little, and this thing is a monster...highly recommend it.

I think one lap around the Goliath circuit got me about 100K and I went up about 7 levels.

Switched to manual with clutch last night and knocked my difficulty all the way down. Dang it Tocco, your drivatar was close to me the whole time lol

Where does one find this lap around the map race?

Also... I wish this game kept track of head on collisions. I'm really struggling to drive on the wrong... but right side of the road all the time.

I'll never in my life sit for three straight hours for one race so it's either risk the resume or nothing. I'll have to take my chances!

I know you can do this for the PS4 but how do you suspend and resume for the Xbox one? Do you just turn off the console without quitting the game?

Also, as a poster asked, where can I find this race?

I always just pause my game then turn off the console. Xbox has had this feature for a long time.

the game stays suspended until you quit the game, start a different game, or hard reboot. so you can just turn off, go home then turn off, whatever. it will be there when you get back.

This race doesn't come until a bit later on. You have to upgrade Byron Bay to level 5 and then it will appear on the coastline, it starts on the beach. It's a pretty epic race, lots of fun.

As for the suspend resume, I just turn off my system with the game on and it will pick up where it left off.

To add more drivatars to your lineup you need to continue to progress through the story. You'll get the option as you get more fans.

To challenge other drivers you can do it in free roam, just drive up behind them and hit the activate button (next to the pause button) on the controller.
