Forza Horizon is a fantastic series though.

But even with that, you never know what the future would bring, can't say that there won't ever be a bad one. Turn 10 has a proven track record though and I give you that.

I agree with you on the racing games like Forza and GT....Though I don't think they should get horrible reviews just because they're not for you?

That'd be like reviewing a horror movie as 0 starts because you don't like horror movies....

Agree, but reviews are still subjective to the person reviewing them. I love racing games but hate circuit games so Forza/GT would take a hit from me.

Either way, that was a bad review, no way the game is a 4/10.

Never heard of that site and reviews rarely ever rile me up, but that's just a completely baseless and absurd thing to say.

I have to believe the devs saw that review and had a good laugh. It's so far in the direction of absurd that it's hard NOT to chuckle. Had other review scores been mediocre and then this one hit, it might sting a little more, but with impressions so overwhelmingly positive, I'm sure they saw that article the same way everyone else did: as hilariously moronic.

And here we are, 2 days away from release of a game with a 91 MetaCritic, but people are talking about the one review that apparently doesn't matter. Click bait wins again.

Here's the thing, if you hate circuit racing games, there's an easy solution...I wouldn't have you review and rate them. To me, the reviewer who's reviewing the game should have that genre in their top five and preferably in the middle of favorites so that way, the game can be reviewed by someone who likes the genre but isn't going to overrate or underrate it simply due to the fact that the genre is in the middle for the reviewer.

Sometimes, I think that the reviewers don't even like or want to play certain genres and are forced to do so which I think is stupid because if the game is good or better, it will be rated lower than expected and if the game is bad, it will be rated worse than expected. In other words, it's simply not a fair way to rate games.

For me, im currently playing ReCore. Am I enjoying it or wanting to play it? No but playing through three story missions, I can honestly say that it's not horrible to where I would give it in the 0-5 range. Maybe a 6/10 or a 7/10. I do know that there's a few things I dislike about the game but a few things I do like about the game. In no way, shape or form do I think that the game deserves any lower than a 5/10 and even that may be too low.

Especially when you see games like Linchdom Battlemage and Homefront The Revolution. Now those games are horrible and bad. Games like ReCore aren't in that category but aren't anything special either.

Not sure if I will finish ReCore but me not being hyped to play it anymore is more on me than the game itself because im just overhyped for Forza Horizon 3. Add in that my 4K TV should be delivered by the end of the day and HDR and yeah, im hyped for Forza. I will keep ReCore but who knows when I will go back to it.

It's not just about that review. It's about a bigger issue. Some reviewers simply shouldn't be allowed/permitted to review certain games.

I feel the same about Twitter comments. Some people's opinions aren't worth reading, but I don't look for people saying stupid things and bring them to light. It's unnecessary. Especially in a case like this where it's so obviously wrong. You just gotta ignore it and move on. Don't feed the trolls as they say.

I'm interested in both One games....I Am Alive looked interesting but not sure if I'll have the time to devote to a "eh" game....didn't quite reach potential I remember

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I love Forza Motorsport. I usually run with a few friends and it's a lot of fun racing with your friends. I agree that racing against the CPU isn't fun, but doing racing leagues is tons of fun for me.

I love both Forza and Horizon. I love the different experience that they each offer. The franchise as a whole (outside of Gears) is the entire reason I even own an Xbox one.

No not really, I own it on both. The online seems smoother on Xbox to me but I think that speaks more to the system itself and not 2K.

Load times are the same, framerate is the same (at least from what I observed), and the graphics are the same. If anything, the PS4 version is slightly more vibrant.

Received my Sony 43 inch X800D 4K UHD TV today. Connected the Xbox One Slim to the console and setup all the settings on the console and the TV. 4K and HDR is all enabled/on and now, im just waiting for Forza Horizon 3 on Friday.

I did play the beginning of Mad Max and everything looks brighter and crisper thanks to the upscaling. The car lights especially look brighter. Instead of Mordor, wish WB would have given Mad Max the HDR treatment.
