If I read that article correctly I believe they're asking for MS to include it not that MS said they'll include it. It would be pretty cool to have.

Yeah no chance. Stupid reason to add cost. It's just for the dev kits.

Neat, but not very practical for most I'd think. Makes sense on dev kits though.

                  Thought this was interesting.
For Microsoft’s Project Scorpio and Sony’s already-released PS4 Pro, the numbers are neither all that stellar nor all that surprising. According to the study, just 14 percent of gamers over the age of 13 have ever even heard of Project Scorpio, while just 27 percent have heard of the PS4 Pro. (The figures are far less for the general population.) When it comes to purchasing those devices, just 15 percent of gamers said they’re interested in buying Sony’s new console, while just 13 percent said Project Scorpio is on their prospective buy list.

15% interested in buying a PS4 Pro which has completely launched and has been marketed (hence the awareness bump), etc. Scorpio at 13% and isn't even fully revealed at this point.

I still believe that despite being a year later, Scorpio will outsell the Pro head to head.

Pricing is def. the most interesting aspect of Scorpio for me....I'm super intrigued by it and as someone wanting to jump back into the XB1 ecosystem (mainly for Sea of Thieves and Crackdown) I'm here to be sold...like what I've heard so far but it has to be reasonably priced for me to want to buy it.

I've heard rumors of a $500 + price point ($599 was one) and I think at that price it'll be DOA. $500 is the absolute most I'd be willing to spend and even then I might pass just to get a XB1S.

The problem is, I don't see with what's in the box how they could sell this for $399 without taking a big hit on each unit...I see $449 as the lowest it'll be.

I'm definitely buying Scorpio as long as it's $500 or less mainly because I'll trade in the Xbox One Slim towards the purchase of Scorpio. I'm super hyped for State of Decay 2 and to see Shadow of War and Assassin's Creed Origins running off of it.

Microsoft will definitely take a hit on Scorpio either way but if they want Scorpio to be somewhat decent in sales, they have to sell it a good price. $500 is what most think it will be but if it's more than $400, it's not going to sell which like PS4 Pro begs the question....what's the point in developing, manufacturing and releasing a console that no one is going to buy because of the price point?

I still believe Microsoft's E3 conference ends with Scorpio's release date and price tag. My prediction is August 22nd with a $400 price tag for 1TB, $500 for 2TB and Shadow of War packed in.

Yeah trade ins will go a long way...hell I might even trade my Pro in towards it if the exclusives I want are coming fairly soon....and if it was the wow factor I believe it will.

Definitely hyped and can't wait to see what MS shows at E3....

Aren't most of the games on both platforms, mostly games we've seen from last Generation, just updated? Uncharted, Last of Us, Halo, Gears, Forza, ect. Horizon Zero Dawn but both platforms are mostly updated exclusive old IP's.
