Exclusive wise for Microsoft, as of right now, it's just State of Decay 2 that's a guaranteed pre-order. Crackdown 3 is 50/50 depending on what the game actually is and what you actually do in the game. Looking forward to seeing it though as it was announced back in 2014.
Multi-platform wise, it seems like games will have various options for resolution, frame rate, etc. A few Pro games have this (ROTTR, Nioh, etc.) but the majority is preset based on the console you're playing the game on. To have the options regardless is huge in my opinion. Anxiously awaiting AC Origins as Microsoft has the marketing for it which was fully expected and im hoping they get Far Cry 5 especially if it's releasing in September.
I'm definitely hyped for every conference (well, except EA, lol) but Microsoft is the main one for me because it's second after EA and I think that Microsoft will have a very good conference but it's all going to be based on the price of Scorpio. The price will either inflate or deflate the crowd and those watching. LOL.
Sequels aren't bad as long as they're good games or better in their own way. Plus, Uncharted 4 wasn't done by Amy Hennig so it was definitely different while Halo 5 and Gears 4 were from new developers/studios which kind of makes them new because of the different/new direction the franchises are going in. Forza is Forza but still great games every year.
I know majority is expecting early November for Scorpio but my prediction is August for a few reasons. First, I think that the console will be done and ready to go earlier than expected. Second, Shadow of War was literally the first game confirmed for Scorpio. It makes no sense to announce that, have the marketing rights to the game if the console isn't coming out until November. Summer games are literally dead in the water by the time late October/November hits.
Third, unlike PS4 Pro, Scorpio is far bigger deal because of the specs and the cool stuff it can do that Pro can't. Fourth, if you think about it, the lineup on paper looks to be as follows - Shadow of War in August, Forza Motorsport 7 in September, AC Origins/State of Decay 2 in October and Crackdown 3 in November.
Scorpio gets released in November and it's like "meh" because who's really going to wait weeks/months to play games on Scorpio? Especially around the time of COD: WWII and Battlefront II.
Another reason is Switch. Nintendo will be stacked for the holidays and the best way of slowing down that momentum is to release Scorpio so those who want it can buy it as opposed to waiting and possibly changing their minds and having games to play on it day one.
If Microsoft announces November at E3, I'll be less hyped and interested because to play a few games running off of Scorpio, I have to wait FIVE months? UGH. That would be a bad move. August 22nd would be just over two months after E3 which is also coincidently similar to when Sony announced (Sept 7th) Pro and released (Nov 10th) it.
Microsoft SHOULD have a lot of momentum coming out of E3 especially if Scorpio starts at $400. A FIVE month wait slows down, halts and possibly kills all that momentum.
Obviously, in four weeks, we will know for sure.
