I bought Pro at launch, am awaiting Uncharted: TLL on August 22nd and expecting Days Gone and God of War next February and March respectively so it's not going anywhere. LOL.

Exclusive wise for Microsoft, as of right now, it's just State of Decay 2 that's a guaranteed pre-order. Crackdown 3 is 50/50 depending on what the game actually is and what you actually do in the game. Looking forward to seeing it though as it was announced back in 2014.

Multi-platform wise, it seems like games will have various options for resolution, frame rate, etc. A few Pro games have this (ROTTR, Nioh, etc.) but the majority is preset based on the console you're playing the game on. To have the options regardless is huge in my opinion. Anxiously awaiting AC Origins as Microsoft has the marketing for it which was fully expected and im hoping they get Far Cry 5 especially if it's releasing in September.

I'm definitely hyped for every conference (well, except EA, lol) but Microsoft is the main one for me because it's second after EA and I think that Microsoft will have a very good conference but it's all going to be based on the price of Scorpio. The price will either inflate or deflate the crowd and those watching. LOL.

There's no way in the world that Scorpio is coming in August, November is more likely. I definitely want you to be right, but no chance for August.
Uncharted 4/Gears of War 4 were both excellent in my opinion. Forza Horizon 3 was the first racing/driving game I have played since Road Rash and Need For Speed on 3DO over 20 years ago so it was new to me and is one hell of a game. Horizon was a new IP and second best game this generation in my opinion after The Witcher III.

Sequels aren't bad as long as they're good games or better in their own way. Plus, Uncharted 4 wasn't done by Amy Hennig so it was definitely different while Halo 5 and Gears 4 were from new developers/studios which kind of makes them new because of the different/new direction the franchises are going in. Forza is Forza but still great games every year.

I know majority is expecting early November for Scorpio but my prediction is August for a few reasons. First, I think that the console will be done and ready to go earlier than expected. Second, Shadow of War was literally the first game confirmed for Scorpio. It makes no sense to announce that, have the marketing rights to the game if the console isn't coming out until November. Summer games are literally dead in the water by the time late October/November hits.

Third, unlike PS4 Pro, Scorpio is far bigger deal because of the specs and the cool stuff it can do that Pro can't. Fourth, if you think about it, the lineup on paper looks to be as follows - Shadow of War in August, Forza Motorsport 7 in September, AC Origins/State of Decay 2 in October and Crackdown 3 in November.

Scorpio gets released in November and it's like "meh" because who's really going to wait weeks/months to play games on Scorpio? Especially around the time of COD: WWII and Battlefront II.

Another reason is Switch. Nintendo will be stacked for the holidays and the best way of slowing down that momentum is to release Scorpio so those who want it can buy it as opposed to waiting and possibly changing their minds and having games to play on it day one.

If Microsoft announces November at E3, I'll be less hyped and interested because to play a few games running off of Scorpio, I have to wait FIVE months? UGH. That would be a bad move. August 22nd would be just over two months after E3 which is also coincidently similar to when Sony announced (Sept 7th) Pro and released (Nov 10th) it.

Microsoft SHOULD have a lot of momentum coming out of E3 especially if Scorpio starts at $400. A FIVE month wait slows down, halts and possibly kills all that momentum.

Obviously, in four weeks, we will know for sure.

If I can finish horizon I will have two xboxes and a pro to trade in for Scorpio. I'd just be holding on to the pro for Spider-Man so we will see what I decide at the time. I don't have a ton of time to game and the game I bought the pro for has been very underwhelming/broke (the show) so I might just go back to Xbox only until ps5 or whatever comes out next.

I have an Xbox One S and a PS4 to trade in or sell to go towards the Xbox Scorpio so I'm hopeful I have to pay virtually nothing to get one.

Microsoft will definitely take a hit on Scorpio either way but if they want Scorpio to be somewhat decent in sales, they have to sell it a good price. $500 is what most think it will be but if it's more than $400, it's not going to sell which like PS4 Pro begs the question....what's the point in developing, manufacturing and releasing a console that no one is going to buy because of the price point?

I still believe Microsoft's E3 conference ends with Scorpio's release date and price tag. My prediction is August 22nd with a $400 price tag for 1TB, $500 for 2TB and Shadow of War packed in.

I don't understand this. Scorpio will most likely be the best console to play third party games on. You can make the argument that Sony has the edge with exclusives (which is an opinion) but I'm not sure the third party argument will make sense once Scorpio drops.

I agree they have to bring the games, but if 3rd party games play better on Scorpio then they'll get a lot of the hardcore type fans who want the best console...

IMO the biggest issue is first party games, MS hasn't had quite the hits Sony has lately.

I haven't had a Xbox One for several years, but will most likely pick up a Scorpio.

I just hope the people buying it also pick up a 4K screen or it kind of defeats the purpose. It's like get a 1080 ti and playing on a 1080 screen. Most of the graphic fidelity improvements coming out are higher resolution at a better frame rate.

The Scorpio can't come out soon enough....It was so tough to go to the PS4 as my main console for this generation because I enjoy the controller and Xbox Live so much. But the graphical differences were too hard to ignore at launch.

I want back in the Xbox ecosystem in a big way and would love to have this hit before all the big sports game releases. I'll be torn to wait on them for the Scorpio or just grab them for my PS4 Pro for one more year.

Loving what xbox is currently doing, the new preview update of being able to see who's talking in the party on screen while playing. It makes using group and playing with new people better since I don't have to playing the guessing game of who's voice is who's.

I'm also anxious for game pass to hurry up and hit the ground running but I'll be lying if I said I don't miss snapping a sports games or show to my tv while playing.

I'm also anxious for game pass to hurry up and hit the ground running but I'll be lying if I said I don't miss snapping a sports games or show to my tv while playing.
I never really liked that full bar on the side, so never used it... a picture in picture option would be cool, but still not sure how much I'd use it. We tend to either watch tv or game, not both. When I was single it'd have gotten more use I think.
