I mean, I believe it was their first PC game (it certainly felt like it at launch). Way more people can actually make use of higher resolution textures vs HDR. They had a list and stuck to it.

This game was very unstable for a significant number of people for a long time. If they took time to implement HDR while the game was in poor shape, I would have been pissed off.

I kinda don't understand those TR compare pics, there saying it looks much cleaner in the X but only when you zoom in, we don't play zoomed in so I'm wondering if you will really see a huge difference when playing Normal

It's just showing the resolution fidelity, we also don't play with still shots either, can make it difficult to compare.

You don't really need to zoom in to see those differences. Think they are just zooming in to emphasize them.

It is what is. I thought the same thing when pixel counters were raving about the PS4 over the XB1.

No one playing games on a PS4 or an XB1, original or their new 4K versions, are going to be lamenting the look of their games. Northern are going to be short of games to play, either.

The controller and where your friends play mean a lot more than resolution and exclusives, for me.

But PR matters. So Microsoft needed the XB1X much more than Sony needed the PS4 Pro. It's not about being better than Sony, it's about ending that narrative of the XB1 being woefully underpowered. Going forward, MS can live with people claiming the PS4 is just as good.

I'd like to see them improve their exclusive lineup, but to be honest, one of the reasons I've stuck with Xbox is that I do love Halo, Gears, and Forza. Dead Rising is great. And I think Crackdown 3 should be a return to what made the first one great.

Otherwise, third party supports Xbox just fine.

I have seen both in motion from the video they show I honestly don't think you would see it from the naked eye in motion, and yes I preordered the X but they can't compare the zoomed shots , all in saying. And like the other guy said exclusives to mean something to me. That's why we buy the different consoles

Well said! My community is on Xbox but I've been playing most 3rd Party And Exclusives on the PS4Pro, but with the X coming out I can come back home! And go back to my usual format of using my PS just for exclusives.

I'm not sure how you don't notice the extra detail in her face while it's not zoomed in. Look again. There's a clear difference in detail.

I'm the exact opposite exclusives wise. I think they are stupid. I would prefer there were none.

The difference is clearly obvious. Play madden 18 on the Xbox S and then try it on the PS4 pro in 4k and tell me you don't see a clear obvious difference. After playing it on the pro the Xbox s version almost looks blurry. And those pics show how not only resolution will be better but also textures are way higher as well.

I think it's pretty safe to say we all want the best we can have, even when it's not a huge difference there. At this point in video games things look pretty darned good all around so we take minute changes when we can because that's what, at this point we are going to get.

I do notice a difference from Xbox One S to PS4 Pro. I'm not sure how much of a difference I'll notice from a PS4 Pro to an Xbox Scorpio though because it's a bit more of an even comparison, but with that being said I'm sure there will be if game makers do their work correctly.

My wife asked me why I want a Scorpio anyways since I prefer the PS4 overall and I really don't know why but I still want one.......with that being said I'll probably hold off on mine until a new unit (maybe Anthem branded Xbox One X???) is out in 2018..

Yes and there's an obvious difference in those pics without having to zoom in like you suggested. There's almost a 2 teraflop difference between the Xbox x and the pro. I think there will be a difference on most multiplatform games.
