The best buy I work at has the xbox one set up and playing game demo's. I don't if that model is the real thing or a dummy tho.

Yeah, I just left our local BB, and I have to say, I am less than enthusiastic about the X1 currently than before. I'm sure that the graphics will be better than the demo kiosk showed, even Forza left me unimpressed.

There was one game, something"light" that looked pretty fun. I was less impressed with Ryse than what I expected too.

Im hopeful that it was just the image quality, compression, something.

Does anyone know what game im referring to? Its something "light". Showed running through the sewer being chase by zombies I believe. Looked to be a 3rd person free running game. I had not seen it before.

Sony announced some details on things the Playstation 4 can and can't do, and I had sent a question over to Microsoft about whether the Xbox One would be able to beat those features. I've just now received an answer and, yes, the Xbox One can play audio CDs.

The system is also DLNA compatible, and they're in the process of being certified. As for mp3 playback… well, that's kind of a mixed bag. The system is a Play To receiver, so you'll be able to stream your content to the Xbox One using any Play To supported devices such as a Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 enabled PC, Windows Phone, etc.

You'll also, of course, be able to stream music through an Xbox Music Pass subscription.

So it doesn't seem like there is going to be a way to simply import your music files, but you will be able to stream the content you already own, hopefully use it in custom mixes for your game, and the device will be DLNA compatible. Audio CDs, for the people who care, will be supported.

Yea I hate the setups on those tv's in store. Overly bright and too saturated which makes the picture look horrible IMO.

Yeah, first thing I thought of...don't know how many times I've seen Xbox 360 or PS3 games in stores and it looks just awful compared to my HDTVs at home. I mean terrible....

I went back and looked again, it's running on an LG 47LN5400

After the second viewing, I'm convinced that the launch titles/early next gen titles will not be blowing me away on either console. Graphically, I guess my expectations were a little high for this early on. On a smaller monitor, everything looks pretty good. But on the tv, I was less than impressed. From further away, it looks "better", but still very similar to this gen.
